Like I told you man, the bike's not a bad ride. You'll grow to love it. You might even kick your own arse when you eventually let it go to get a TDM, only to find it sucks compared to the v-twin. If the finances work out, go for it man.

i get 320 to 330km before reserve light comes on.. need to pump 13 litre... tat makes about 25km per litre..

This includes riding out of 2nd link at 160 or top speed, riding around in singapore (plus trashing and playing pick up) and riding back into 2nd link at top speed again... great little bike.

Get a wave or tiger pulsar lah, if you want to champion on fuel consumption.

 

The stupid light I say, don't blink at consistent levels, sometimes blink I pump 12 litre, sometimes 10 or 13 etc. To really measure your FC, first pump to full tank, reset the trip meter to 0. Ride for couple of km. Go pump to full tank again. Now you have the amount of litres pumped and km travelled. You can measure how much fuel you had used for that couple of km. Do at least 100km for a good average reading.

 

See ah cheong or Agent for help, usually its the air fuel mixture that's giving this problem. Otherwise, check your air filter, air pressure and type of spark plug used also. Many mechanics don't know the exact model compatible for the SV, can run mean can already. You put a short stupid plug, how to fire properly?

 

Also check your final drive ratios, if it's not stock, no point to compare.

when overseas, how many s4 can ta han until ayer keroh petrol station from gp esso one shot while maintaining 160 to 190km/h?

can only say tat sv can, and have more to spare despite having a 16 litre tank (while s4 has an 18 litre tank).

Weather recently very shitty...

Yesterday best.. raining super heavily in the west (heavy visibility super low), but when i rode til reach adam rd, it was scorching hot!! My bike n rain coat already dry by the time i reach Tampines Exit :giddy:

 

Hope tis sat's event wun be ruined by the rain..

1 more thing.. i wonder if this SBBF's convoy is 'specially arranged' by our government?? As a show for the delegates tt Sgp's a really happening place :confused:

 

Its strange to have a convoy going on in tis type of 'heightened times' -- IMF
