Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

FCR brand new >S$1000.

i bought mine 2nd hand from ebay S$300.

most ppl sell 2nd hand around S$400-$500.

And it's a worthy upgrade, esp drz-sm.

What's better than to ride CB750 everyday to patrol around SG?

and catch NSF for not wearing seat belt, not putting P-plate and sleeping inside military vehicle?

and get paid $150 for every 3000km clocked?

and get to sleep in bunk entire day during rainy days?

and get to hide at bus stop, playing with radar gun?

and to catch a CDO CPL smoking inside ambulance along KJE?

and a SSG telling a CPL "Sir, give chance leh" ? PRICELESS

woah, thanks for the pointers dude. seems like i have alot of things to observe and finetune at the next track session!

the michelin pilot sports was for the purpose of riding safely in the rain and still being gd enuf for a track tyre. perhaps a pilot race or diablo sc2 will be better, but then how to go touring sia...

there're so few pple riding cbr900rr tt my info abt similar make settings r limited. tyre pressure wise i'm running a comfy 30front 32rear, gives me enuf traction, though i'm wondering if i can bump it up a little since my bike is heavier and can use a lil more to save tyres' overheating and wearing out...

previous bt090 on my cbr400rr lasted 4 track sessions b4 they cldn't tahan all the heat cycles. this time i think the pilot sports abt to give way too...maybe juz 1 more track session...

in fact when the power slide happens it's usually a lil after i crack the throttle for the exit of the turn. it's not a huge slide, but enough to shift my angle to a much straighter exit out of the corner. definitely not for style in my case, can't see anything plus if can see anything it's usually my legs flailing about.

yeah suspension, gonna tune them all over again...apparently after it came out of the bikeshop the settings all different again. :(

maybe the best way is to back it in on the entry of the corner, then power slide a little on the way out? the cornering sure become very short, but i wonder how the tyres will take it...and the balls.

yupz, try up 1 psi if the tires overheat easily. but just be careful on the reduced traction.

well it's either you choose touring or tracking. haha. if not just ride more conservatively on the track. Slowly push limit will do.

Wah 4 track sessions very xiong leh....that's y i cant afford to ride class2. Zzz

i still think power slide is not good. just be gentle on the throttle and let the bike accelerate smoothly. or just open throttle a bit later.

Although you guys think being an officer in BMTC is big **** i beg to differ

We have to worry about TSR as these people are recruits. They are new to the training and I bloody read the 4 vol. of TSR so I won't get extras.

Talking about extras, our S1 gives extras like no one's business. Not to mention the CO who doesn't even protect the officers.

Relations with specs is pretty hard to manage as well...Esp with a CSM that..........

The worse is SFI and Fast craft.

But at the end of the day, the recruits do recognise your efforts to train them. Having them throwing you into the skies is best..

And having gone to Unit, Unit life is better. But different people diff experience. Me and Faz were fall - in by our S3(along with other officers)

Many people thinks young 2LT like us are crap. I admit some black sheep do make us look bad. But we also do alot of sai kang.

But I am so glad it's over.

And yes, we may have a great NS time. But ever wonder why drivers and storeman awol?

Burnt weekends, extras, scoldings by encik....not easy for them also..

Personally i feel it's a good buy, not just the price, but also the performance of the bike. Powerful and versatile.

But as I go home tonight....my S4 is like crying out to me not to give her up...

feel so emo...
