think i going unique motors to service my bike before going for the trip.

Time to change engine oil and perhaps check on my clutch as well.

Anyone wants to go there on 9 May afternoon? After morning paper.

yo dude, try to have enough time to ride the bike around for a bit after the servicing. this will ensure that the bike is free from any bugs or "stuff-that-the-mech-screwed-up" that might happen.

better to have it repaired in sg by having free towing back to the workshop plus being there to give the mech a piece of ur mind, than to be stuck trying to field-repair ur bike on the NSHW.

:)

Actually I would rather set off at 0700. Best way to ensure we reach Malacca before noon. This includes anything that crops up along the way.

WQ what do you reckon? I believe if we go by 8am meet at GP, plus pple being late and all... We gonna end up departing GP Esso only at 8:30am.

according to the schedule posted by stan, group leaving NUS SRC at 0630h shld leave on the dot. so, be there before 0630h. this is so that those who reach GP Esso before 0715h will not need to wait for the earlier group. the 15mins buffer till the 0730h briefing is exactly what it is, a buffer should anything happen and snowball the schedule.

so, best is everyone is already present at GP Esso to have the briefing at 0730h, so that we can leave at 0745 on the dot.

reason for having the setoff timing early is coz we're riding convoy-style. therefore we can't all be 299kmh heroes. this said, we'll take longer time to reach malacca, and we wanna reach malacca earlier for 2 reasons.

1. can get seats for lunch.

2. it'll be bright late morning, but not killer, hot afternoon. traffic in malacca town is no joke after a long ride, overheating engines(poking at all the new high-compression bikes :p ) and snail traffic.

so let's meet earlier, move off on time, and reach just nice. ;)

of coz if someone is late, play catch up at the stop points (gsm comms w stan), or for 1st time NSHW riders, someone will wait for u to play 299kmh hero together to play catch up (after tt treat lunch).
