I feel that the tiam is not dishonest, it's that they not up to that standard and unable to solve the issue.

Just buy the ignition module and bring back to the shop to slove the problem. I think the mechanic will not charge you so much cos he would know you have brought your bike there to slove this problem from the very start. The mech is quite honest lah :p

Hmmm, although it's an air cooled engine but I guess no need to blood boil so fast. :p There are 3 more Harley specialized shops you can try, and also Combine. If those fail then dealership. Let us know what was the real problem so that we can learn too.

G'day mate.... thanks for the tip. I feel abit woobly at higher speeds by myself. Strange though, when i have a pillion, the bike actually feels more stable on the straight but of course taking the corners are not as easy as when i'm on it alone.

What have you done on your wife's Sporty so far? Is it still the same as i last saw it? Remembered you wanted to do a different color ya....

G'day Don, any difference after adjusting your shocks?

As for my wife's sporty we haven'y had much time or cash to do much yet but will be back into it soon. Did upgrade the horn though to one loud enough to get trucks to move over hehe.

I'm looking for a back rack for it as well (94 883H) if you happen to hear of someone that may have one for sale.

Cheers

G'day Hargar,

Nope, i have not changed my shocks yet as i'm waiting for March when i get my bonus (if any) to see what i can buy.... but i will change a thicker oil to my front folks first to see if it helps..... if it does, i can save the money then. Times are pretty hard, aren't they.... :(

If you like your current ride you could consider a forward controls conversion. It is very common on Sporty's and gives a lot of leg strech. Have a sit on an 883C or 1200C to see how it would fit you. Just a thought as it could work out cheaper and more suitable than selling off your ride and getting another and modding to your requirements.

Cheers
