Looking at the RRP on remus website, the price tag is not looking good. *crossing fingers*

only 3 choices,

1. Pay the price for street legal.

2. Use stock exhaust.

3. Stick to after market but always have the thrilling feeling whenever u on the road. And keep checking

checking your rear mirrors for anything in white.

Hi guys, I've jus got a 2010 Iron recently after a 15 yr break from ridin.

I luv my sporty but I've been doin fishtails more frequently esp wif dis crap weather.

D bike still has d sucky HD stock tires.

Anyone riding wif something which is more suitable for our wet climate?

Any tire shop to reccomend?

Posted
Avon tires are well recomended...

Agreed, Avon... I am using Avon Venom... super sticky tires even in wet weathers. But it wear out fast. But worth the money for safety.

Great exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for that.

These stock tires have 17k on them tread still plenty.

too bad it slips ard like my flip flops when it's wet.

D avons can last at least 10k?

How much damage for a set? $500+?

Does anywhere hv ready stock or do I hv to pre-order?

it should be able to last 10K, i had mine at 700 ++ for a pair because 160 rear and 150 front. I got it from TwinsPerformance, u can check with Eric (8183 5318), sometimes he got ready stock depends on the sizes u are looking for. If not he can order for u according to the sizes u need.

Anyway he is not in town for this week and shop is close for business till next Monday.

Tks andyncc!

Btw those of u on sportsters, what tire pressures r u guys running wif?

I've lowered my to 27 & 38 front & back cos it was too bumpy.

I'm less than 70kg & thinking of lowering further (b4 thinking of better suspension)

How low can I go w/o too much abnormal wear?

Wander if the Remus is for 2006 and above?
most likely

There is no hard and fast rule. A Harley air cooled v-twin should be torque-y enough for second. First would be kind of slow and draggy. Although it's generally not recommended that you lug your engine...a little around the turn at the junction shouldn't do much harm. I have no problems with second or third gear, depending on the speed I'm going and the mood at that time haha...Most of the time if I'm just riding through without stopping it's either second or third. If it's a stop and go, then first until almost at the end of the turn it's second.

just got stop by maggots just now on my way to office, lol. so damn rude, saw the maggots on side of the road making a phone call when i zoom through CTE towards PIE exit. a few seconds late I saw him behind my back following me from lef to right checking out my Yoshi. And finally ask to me to pull one side. A short chinese maggots, so rude..... first word from his mouth, road tax then start looking from the rear to the front of my bike looking for somrthing to find fault. Unfortunately he cannot find anything.

When I took out my road tax, he didn't even look at it and say ok ok... KNN... waste my time. These maggots are far way behind the Traffic Police when dealing with motorist on the road. Super arrogant and rude.
