Try tpo parts? They should have loads of aftermarket parts, unless you looking for originals then prolly should ask Mike from KC or Ismail from Minerva. Good luck.

FYI :

Its not advisable to re-stable your seat if you want to re-wrap your seat.

Do use carpet glue and use min staple to support.

There was lots of seat that was send to factory coz crack due to heavy stapling on seat.

Do take not. Just sharing. Its up to you once again

Thanks antonioshabirto,

I've been busy lately out to customer site so couldn't reply u guys.

I have done it on yesterday at a shop located just beside 205 where a gentleman from Ducati,sg recommended me to.

Quite a nice for for a small buck I must say. Cost only 45. used 2 types of materials.

About the staples, I will check tomorrow. I'm gonna take them out some if there're too many. Thanks a lot for your advice. :)

Dood I'm using Viper soft saddles on my duke. They work fine with no mods. can fit one helmet each side. You might want to try arjays also, but need to cut the strap a bit. Cheers

Hi h@nn,

Sorry for late reply. Busy at work and fixing my old monster.

Ok, Thanks I will c. May be I will check at Lim Ah boy or Motoworld.

Is it waterproof?? cos carrying laptop by backpack is kinda tiring on long trip(1/2 hr).

Anyone seen the 696? Went over to minerva to enquire...21K Machine price it seems. They said there will be a model over the upcoming bikeshow. Anyone has ordered one? Am quite interested. Since the m400 has been discontinued anyways ;)

Hi guys,

I've done 1st round of servicing for my monster at KC,mike today.

1) changed front and rear wheel bearings

2) changed rear brake pad.

3) changed both brake fluid pump covers, on handle-bar.

Still I need to go back there for changing of steering cone bearing.

replacing of rear signal lights...so on.

no stock for Steering bearing now. only available at the end of this month.

Phewwwww... my wallet keep getting thinner from the day I owned my monster.

My point is, is it really safe to ride the bike when its steering bearing is out of shape.

I started to notice it from hearing sound from center part(pivot pt) of handle bar. Sometime the noise like "tick-tag" can sound out whenever I unlock the handle or go over the speed-hump.

Have you guys encounter this before?

Hi again,

Guys do you happen to have original rear signal lights for monster?

I mean when you changed to another type like LED signals or something you

might have kept your old original signal lights housing.

I knew from Mike, KC that can buy from Minerva new but rather ex.

Pls contact me if do not want them and sell it to me.

It doesn't matter if you have one or a pair.

Well basically most Italian or lets say European bikes do need a little more attention compared to jap bikes but once everything is done up nicely... Its a joy to ride it around...!! Never get sick of it...!! Regular servicing and maintenance will do good also as it helps to reduce the hole in our wallet big time...!! Its true.. most of us been through that stage when we first got our Monster be it any C.C...

All along I had this problem with my monster... at high speed abt 140 - 160km/hr handling was alright but the handle bar vibrates a lot... after much consideration and asking around... I went to Race Werks as I was just nearby and bought Motovation bar end sliders... guess wat...!!! It works...!! First thing its very heavy.. its 4 or 5 times much heavier than a normal or stock ones and its the heaviest so far that I found, Secondly its solid and its chrome just wat I always wanted... it cost me $60/- and it worth every penny... I rode my bike at errr somewhere doing 140++ short burst of coz if not T.P will come hunting for me :giddy: it felt wonderful... No vibration whatsoever... superb handling...:thumb: but for speed above 160++km/hr I can't guarantee... So if anyone out there who don't have steering damper or don't intend to spent that much money on steering damper and is looking of something that makes the bikes feels better, less vibration this is it...!!! Motovation or Extreme Equipment bar end sliders.. as for extreme theirs are black..... cheers..

Yup waterproof. I got mine across the road from ah boy shop(near posbank atm) but i think 219 also sell. No prob for laptop also I put mine in saddle bag on way to work. Comes with rain cover for VERY heavy rain. for normal light rain and drizzle everything stays dry. If you want VERY dry try arjays but those are very ex.

For anyone interested.

$200 for new ones from Minerva.

$100 for 2nd hand ones from Mike.

But he insist on installing them himself and wont allow you to buy and DIY.

So, add on another $40 for labour on top of the $100.

Also, no warranty from him should it go kaput in the next hour.

Anyone riding Ducati Monster ever considered doin this? After i saw this pic, man i think I will consider buying a monster again. It is utterly gorgeous! Really a badass street bike, what a monster was made out to me. Its gansta yet sweet and classy in its own right, not over done(like alot of other monsters ive seen) Has blasphemic presence and its stance is simply drop dead gorgeous! It looks like its gonna prowl on u..

From what i can see, the more obvious mods done are the exhaust, almost like a Harley's CFR pipes, Chopped tail (loves but illegal in SG), its airbox has been removed to a huge filter, looks like KnN, most likely slipper clutch and open clutch cover, maybe modified swing arm. Looking at it makes me drool.. This is what i call a Monster!! :giddy: Ok enough of the blabbering.

A Ducati Monster based dual sport motorcycle! The bike is now in production, so if your riding tends to be a bit more adventurous than your sportbike riding friends would like, this might be you.

Long travel suspension, dual sport tires, spark arrester on the pipe, all of the things you would expect of a bike intended to take you on the road less paved. Overland Motorcycles builds the bike based on the Monster 695, Kayaba fork, Brembo brakes and all for $16,950.

Thanks dude!

currently & temporarily I have a pair of rear signal fixed, quite an old pairs though. kinda crack in rubber base.

I've gotten one from previous owner and one from Michael, KC.

btw, the bike comes with carbon-fibre lookalike only at rear siggy. Front siggy are still orginal

so carbon lookalike lights were drawing diff amt of current to the front and making the signal relay blinking the lights much more frequent than what it's supposed to.

That's why I was pretty desperate to get 'em changed.

now that this problem is solved but i think i am going to get better condition ones from one of our forumer.
