i have this permanent smile on my face today. KC helped me install my high mount CF termis (used) today and wow! when the bike fired up, it sounded amazing. totally unexpected! i have been awed by the termis in the 1098 but had low expectation for my 400cc block... but when the bike ignited, my bike transformed into a Harley! Addictive! Just feel like going to the carpark and starting the bike again just for the heck of it!

today went to change alley to deposit chq at amex. saw 1 action malay rov stop infront of me, chasing vehicles off. so i went to deposit the chq,came back, saw him took pics of my bike n he say i din respect him, seen him, still park here. i told him, i din say never respect u, i only deposit my chq & its took less than a mins plus i din park at zig zag line. then again still say i din respect him & ask my licence & told me wait for letter. he not professional at all. just a action bas*ard want to show off infront of the public. then i took my licence & left. dun know whether got fine or not.if got fine, i sure complain to my MP.

opposite hitachi tower is a hot spot. the vehicles (cars) that stop along the road cause quite a bit of congestion because it blocks the traffic making a left turn before fullerton.

Just got the bike of my dreams...a red '06 M400, from a friendly and helpful seller. Have been riding her almost everyday. Just can't get enough of the long highways, especially at night. I've heard of bikes that purr and this one is music to my ears!

 

I noticed last night that my exhaust pipes are not level to each other, one side is higher. Can anyone advise if this is normal? Can it be adjusted?

Yup quite normal.. you can bend it into place but generally the left side is further from the centre than the right to accomodate the chain and sprocket. Hope this helps.

I'll be away overseas this weekend. Let the house decide in consultation with DYMM President Zerokewl and let the rest of us know. I'm game for central area. Sultan sounds good with ample parking in backlane.

I've noticed one side is further from centre to accommodate the chain/sprockets as mentioned, however it's the height from the ground to the tip of each exhaust that's different on mine. The right side is higher than the left. Is this normal?

wow now must buy him kopi.. Lol.. Anywho if one side is higher than the other its probably because the pipes came from different batches or the mount on the right and left pipes is not welded equal. If i were you id switch to aftermarket legal gpr pipes as they arent too ex. Or if you want to keep stock you may want to trade one to one with mike for one of his stock pipes there. One high one low is not normal but its not a major problem.. Ride on dude and good luck!

I hear most asking for alternate options. Since it was on a Saturday last week, this week will be on Sunday.

As for the location, until we send in the recce team, I'd say we keep it to a place where EVERYONE knows.
