Is it the Shell on the one way 4-lane road before the road split 3 ways? The Shell opposite a shopping center? 8am is fine with me. Will it be jam all the way to PG cos morning peak period?

y not meet at 7 instead, gives you time to cool down before u hit the track

So far best place to look is Garage sale section. If you go to bike shops might be hard to find one in good condition. Some COE renewed M400s are in very good condition with mods so expect to pay a premium. Those with 1yr or less COE remaining might cost less than $3k again depending on parts and mods and condition.

 

Later models have twin front discs. I think 2005 on? MY2002 only has one sided disc and carb model not FI.

Just remember the FI bikes have a lot less torque and fewer aftermarket items. Older bikes have more options to big bore, add bling etc etc, if youre into that kind of stuff. Ask the Duc mechanics like Mike, Raymond, Looi etc. Once in awhile Minerva have good second hand ones also. They will point you in the right direction. Good luck.

None on sale means no matter how much money you cough up also no point. Wait for opportunity and grab it when it comes. Most monsters sold within a month or even less. Be patient and check bike well if not may be an expensive white elephant.

 

FI also means less people to go to tune. Also if you modify pipes or engine you might have to get a different chip depending on complexity. So do take that into consideration too. Twin disc also means 2x brake pads, rotors to replace/maintain.

my 2 cents.

If you just passed your 2A and looking for a transition bike to Class 2. Look elsewhere. I'm not being funny, but riding a duk isn't a transition thingy. Suggest you get a Super4 of the likes. Again, nothing wrong with Super4, but the Super4 gives less headache, and easier to sell, when you get your Class 2.

 

If on the other hand you have a class 2, and looking for a monster, with FI & dual disc brakes. Look into the S2 / S4 / 695/ 696 arena. Money well spent there.

 

Also if you look at the history of the monsters, Ducati only released the FI very late, ( I think) 2005. Most of them sold were in 2006, don't have the exact figures, but not many were sold. Of these not many sold, even less appear on the 2nd hand market. When they do appear, the price is hefty, which discourages alot of people.
