Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a 1100 EVO. Any riders out there would like to give your input? I have read lots of reviews online but would rather listen to local riders. I do see the improvements between the older 1100. Dtc, abs, proclaimed 100bhp etc. Quite dissapointed with the wet clutch though. How does bike fare overall against the older 1100 models?

Am looking for a used streetfighter but it has been hard to chance upon. Guess I'll settle for a monster then

Hi all, after many months of searching.. I've finally found myself an M400 and hoping to get it ASAP.. But I found out that it's the last batch of the M400, which is the '05-'06 "ie" model.. Can anyone share their views of having an "ie" model..? I've been looking into this thread and there isn't any comparison made.. Thanks alll for sharing..!

Erm, what I read off the net was that, the EFI version gives 10 more BHP and it has 6 gears. And of course 2006 version are prettier much younger, so can't really compare the older generation monsters with it.

But of course, it'll be very much more expensive too then.:smile:

EFIs have better fuel economy for sure. They also have twin disc setup in front. Heavier but better braking. Their speedo and tacho is also much nicer than old model. You pay more now but also sell for more. Newer bike less problems with wiring and milage is at least more certain.

Finally found some information about the EFI models.. Now can't wait to buy over the M400..!
