KAWASAKI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 NINJA ZX-10R/ZX-10R ABS (ZX1000JBF/JBFL/KBF/KBFL) MOTORCYCLES. IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A PORTION OF THE WIRING HARNESS TO BECOME PINCHED BETWEEN THE REAR SUBFRAME AND THE REAR FENDER OR BETWEEN THE REAR SUBFRAME AND THE BOLT HOLDING THE SEAT COVER. THIS CAN DAMAGE THE HARNESS AND WIRING AND RESULT IN A SHORT BETWEEN WIRES AND THE FRAME OR WITHIN WIRES, WHICH COULD RESULT IN THE ENGINE STOPPING SUDDENLY.

 

A total of 2560 of the affected models were imported to USA.

Just bought a 05 ZX10R for $10.5k. Milage ard 59k. Comes with yoshi trioval slip on n carbon Fibre engine guard. Anyone knows e history of this bike? I think I am e 4th owner. Used to belong to a air force guy.

its a common call-up for harness wire pinched within the bikes. better to hav them checked since still within warranty..

anyway, for a litre sportsbike your fc is not that bad infact.. but what is your average rev during this running-in period?

I like the outlook of this bike very much.. i say this is the best looking litre bike i ever seen.

but now the prices of bikes are expensive and hold me back when i got to know the price.. :S

hi there i wana buy a brand new bike. i thought of getting the zx10 2011 or 2012 !!! i need some advice on the bike. many ppl say its hard to maintain n the parts are very difficult to get!! somebody please advice me on this!! thank you!! I hope sumone can. Help me !! I having struggling which will be better Suzuki 20012 or zx10r also !! Plz. advise me i'n this also !!thank you peeps!!

Try to contact Ah Hua 0127889882, he is Motormatic bike shop boss, place at Jb somewhere near Taman Tun Aminah, they are specialise on Kawa and able to deal with other brand big bike.Hope tis can help u.. my ride is zx10r 05 upps!:angel:

I have a Ohlins R&T steering damper for sale. Fits 04-05 ZX10R.

What kind of parts are you after? Service consumables are not a problem.

 

For anything more 'special'.....Nevershine, never shines.

Ebay is yr best friend :D Especially with recent US$ exchange rates. 7 to 10 days shipping from US.

yup.. saw my friend bought a set of cbr600rr fairing from ebay $700 only. Completed set with painting and item send to yr doorstep.Nice...:thumb:
