Too bad no more PG track day or weekend slots this month.

 

Wondering will there be any other motards going on the same day. Am going with some 600s and 1000s. :sweat: :giddy:

 

Looks like they are going to murder me on the straights but I guess I will wait for them at Turn 3 onwards and jam them in the corners. :cheeky:

Doing some mods to the DRZ with the aftermarket stuff I brought back tomorrow. So Wednesday will be a test run of the equipment.

 

What aftermarket stuff???? To make the bike go faster and stop quicker since nothing can be done to improve the rider. :cheeky:

Beautiful weather at the track today.

But the most beautiful thing was..........Junkie actually showed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :faint:

 

He actually showed up (albeit 15 minutes late!!) but he ACTUALLY showed up.

 

Had a blast dicing with Rudy on his '07 DRZ400SM on the track. Bike was sliding intermittently in the fast corners.

 

Think I better go change the GPR70s out.

 

This Friday 20 April....... anyone????

Anyway, I will definitely be going. Just changed my tyres on the DRZ to dual compound Pilot Power Race tyres.

 

Hopefully the high speed head shakes will be gone. On Wednesday... was able to hit 164 KMH down the back straight on the DRZ before the headshakes made me back off on the throttle.

 

Did some mods on the bike and I think it is capable of hitting 170 KMH down the back straight of PG. Am really curious to find out what is the max speed this bike is capable of now. o_O

But then again, mebbe I should not divulge the secrets, after that all other DRZs will be faster then me and I will lose straight line speed advantage.

You said it!!! I too fell victim to the jam also. I just got home, was stuck in the horn tooting, 2T smoke belching heap of cub kias for about 45 minutes. :faint:

 

Well, it was great fun today... at least I got to ride with an old track kaki before I leave for the States again.
