Volcano .. wow.. I have a 7 month old female red toy poodle too ... She is roughly full-grown but she is so small... Where did you get her from? One thing good abt poodle is they shed minimally unlike GR. Would like to join u guys at bishan park. See how first. dunno my gf want to go or nt. Plus I hate to carry my dog in the carrier bag. feel super unsafe... what if she climb out and kenna run over by car.. siao la ...

if it is going to rain until 6pm. no point going to bishan park. can't expect our dogs and us to run in the rain, getting drenched, right? if the rain stops in time for our dogs to play around for an hour before 6pm, i'll still go down.

 

i don't mind if i have to take a cab down to pawtobello if it's raining. there is only u and me going to pawtobello for now, would u still go if it rains? i guess u will be riding, am i right?

if bring ur dog along in carrier, better tie the leash to some part of the carrier. there are some carriers with clips/hooks to attached to the collar or harness to the dog can't jump out totally.

my 2 month old beagle has blood whenever she passes motion and her **** is watery. wad cd be the problem?

 

My experience is whenever I change dog food. this will happen to my dog a shetland which you can see from my siggy. Last time i gave him some tasty dog kibbles i got from dog show cos he loved it but his poo also got blood cos sudden change of diet.

 

If you dog is happy with the current brand of dog food., stick to it. My personal point of view

PUT ON YOUR RUNNING SHOES -“WALK YOUR DOG” IS BACK!!!!!!

 

SPCA and Health Promotion Board (HPB) are organising a dog walk on the 15th March (Saturday) from 8-10am at Bishan Park 2 (near the dog run area).

 

The response to previous “Walk Your Dog” events were so good, registration actually closed a week before the deadline! So please sign up early to avoid disappointment.

SPCA’s education booth will be set up. So why not take the opportunity to ask our Information Officers that burning question you always had about your pet or pick up an educational leaflet or two.

It’ll be a day of fun, games, prizes and doggy bags for you and your canine companion!

DOGGIE OUTING!!!

 

With or without dogs, feel free to join! An opportunity for riders with a common interest in dogs to interact and also for their pooches to socialise.

 

Date: 9th March 2008, Sunday

Time: 3pm at Bishan Park, (Bishan Park will autocancel if it rains)Will move off at 6pm for dinner at Pawtobellow Cafe at No 33 Mohd Sultan Road #01-04

 

Things to bring

1) Bring you yourself and your pooches.

2) Water to make sure they are well hydrated during play. Some food as well in case they don't like pawtobello's food.

3) Leash and collar/harness

4) Frisbee and balls. (Optional)

5) Plastic bags to pick up poo poo.

 

For those riding with dog like me, please make sure that your dog is secured. Secured a box carrier to your bike. Best if have pillion to look after it while rider rides. Or if you have those kangeroo pouch, that will be excellent.

 

If taking taxi, chances of getting a cab is higher if dog is in a carrier instead of just on leash.

 

If you have female dogs on heat, advisable not to let them go unleashed. You know what will happen.

hey shirl and stanley, nice to meet you and your family. lol. we can have another doggie outing, next time round in the evening.

 

some areas in sg was dizzling like my place, whereas Bishan park was bright and sunny. it did rain when we left. then we waited for the rain to stop before moving off.

 

my way back home from bishan park, it rained again! my poor dog was drenched, he hid his face under my armpit as i rode. gave him a good bath when i got home.
