Hi all,

A litter of three 2 month old puppies have been discovered at a construction site in the wooded area where we are feeding the strays. The puppies – 1 brown male (Shep) & 2 black females (first black female is named Lady), when discovered were found to be eating mud n drinking the muddy water from extreme hunger and thirst.

 

We have been feeding them since and yesterday managed to catch two of the three. We are still trying to catch the third one. The last pup needs to be moved as well and quickly too as we have reports of dogs being killed and eaten by foreign workers in that area. (For your info, some of the dogs we are feeding have been missing in the last months. We recently rescued one big male dog, the friendliest of the lot, and he had a wire noose wound very very tightly around his neck. He actually ran to us as if for help, choking and allowed us to pry off the wire noose - with great difficulty. It was timely for him as he would not have survived in that situation. We believe that he was caught and managed to escape as he had bruises and blood on his mouth/jaw.) He is now staying in a boarding kennel. We are speculating that the puppies' mother could have suffered the same fate. The 3rd pup is therefore in great danger which is why we have to catch her fast.

 

Both the brown male and first black female we have caught need homes very badly – foster or adoption. The first black female has been vaccinated last night and is very quiet. The yet-to-be-captured second female will eventually need a home too – foster or adoption.

 

Please help to ask around for anyone interested in adopting these two first. They do not need to be adopted together although that will be ideal. As these are local breed, regrettably they can only be kept in non-HDB residences.

I saw a post some time ago about tompang-ing pet dogs, but I can't seem to find it now.

 

Remember that someone mentioned about doggie helmets. Well, I managed to find some online and am going to order. Was wondering if anyone else would be interested so I can order all at one shot?

 

After shipping and all, it rounds off to about SGD $18. Pictures can be found on my ebay listing:

Mongrels are not hdb-approved for those who are unaware of this. For those under the age of 21 who are keen on adopting (especially students), please obtain parental approval first before approaching me. I will also need to meet up with you and your parents first. Home visits must be allowed and the dog to be sterilised.
