I've just been to Penang on a 2d/1n trip last month and touched the thai border at wang kelian. Didn't get to visit any places of interest though. If you guys are interested, I don't mind going again. The grik highway is interesting but I think will be taxing. Let me know.

July 1st : Penang

July 2nd 0800hrs: Leave for Grik and end in Trengganu/Cherating??

July 3rd 1200hrs : Head back to SG.

I don't think I can catch up with you guys in skills and stamina,

I am interested in this original ride because the organiser promised it to be a casual ride at slow speed and no rush.

Grik highway should be good for cubbing corners which is not so suitable for a blardy old man like me.

c4able, thks u for your invitation. I find your trip itinerary a bit of a rush. I don't find any kick just to touch the border and return back. Would prefer a 2 day Penang trip and wallop up all the goody goody food and visit all their places of interest.
