hm...

been try to have a meet-up for e convoy last fri nite but only 3 psn att... so we do nothing there... so anyone else wanna meet-up if we meet this fri nite...? come leh come leh... so we also can talk abt our 3ncr trip too since so many of us wanna joint but dunno wat to do... :)

I normally hit 320km - 330km before reserve.

Whenever I top up full tank, the cashiers tend to give me a weird kindda of look cos S$42 for a bike! Haha..

guys guys.. i have a surgestion for the 3ncr... im currently waiting for the ppl in magdaco to call me to go with them for the NCR... as for last year magdaco got sponsored by yamaha and those riding yamaha bike will will subsidiced 50 %....

 

can confirm this with denrick and ashenz...

 

but the riding speed is abit slow though.. dont mind can go with them but we just shoot first den mmet at the next stop..

 

or u guys can go up to phuket first then just meet up there with the rest of the magdaco ppl like wat ashenz and denrick did last time

guys just got my new fjr.. wat kind of running in u guys recommend?? till how many kilometers den my running in will be done and how fast max should i go????

 

till how may kilo do i need to changed my first engine oil???read some recommend to changed it at at 200 kilo

Best Way to Care your New bike...

 

 

1st: 500milage Change Engine Oil

 

2nd: hit 2000k Full svc from engine oil, oil filter, spark plug, air filter,coolent and shaft oil.

 

From there your can keep a record ( use small note book ) on your bike, so the next/every 3mths Just Change Engine Oil and Oil filter etc.. until you hit every 10k do your Full SVC.

alternative way is break in with dyno run 45min later ur bike is ready to wack

happy_cookies bike used this method..after dyno run straight away change oil & oil filter..1000km then service..now is bike is ready for 3000 full service liao

 

& yet the dyno run charges is affordoble.. ask unity motor@ bukit merah..they will tell u everything

Congratulations on your new 06 FJR!! Time to clock some miles...

 

Last year, we were partially subsidised by the Magdaco.. That was a great ride. Minus the waiting and stopping.. We, (6 FJR) proceeded to Phuket before heading down to Penang for the actual event.

 

For Rider whom will be riding up in your own group, find out the offiical hotel before the "D-Day". Call directly to hotel Phuket (Official Hotel), identify yourself as one of the rider or groups in Singapore. The room reservation and subsidised room rates will usually extended to you. Have your visa /mastercard ready.!

running dyno will save ur money for petrol and ur time too.... by running dyno, u save money for e petrol that u need for run-in, think abt $100 for petrol, and e time u need for run-in... thiank abt few day or more... Do a dyno run and wat u need is 45min and few ltr of petrol... and also e service charge lah....

This sounds like a good idea, so can we just join in thru Magdaco and get the subsidized rates, and then head up to Phuket on our own 2 days earlier??

 

but i'd read that the "Official Hotels are all located at Phuket Town itself, and not at the Patong beach area.... so wat the heck???

well all kind of running in i have read on the forum.. there are some who says to readlining yr new bike is ok as they have done running infor u in the factory...

 

well have any of u guys try doing the barberian mod??? reseating the jumper...they say will improved the smoothesness and get ride of the vibration..

1000 hrs Refueling at Km160, Trang (at 3 gas stations)

1200 hrs Lunch break at Krabi

0930 hrs All bikers assemble outside Royal Phuket City Hotel
