do you know which sensor can determine the bike is still in motion while the ABS plate has already stop?

   How can the bike not stop when the ABS plate has already stop, the ABS plate is on the same wheel

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

Speaking of accessories, there was talk some time ago abt really small sized digital voltmeters for the FJR. Am planning to get one for mine. Can anyone advise on where I can get one and at what cost?

Sorry I misread your words.

I understand that ABS cuts in when the sensor sense that the ABS disc or "plate" is not rotating which means that the wheel is stationery or lock up and then regulate the braking force on the brake caliper to prevent the wheel from locking up. Thus resulting the foot brake jumps at speed giving out the "Thud, thud" sound.

Never occur to me to ask how the system sense that the bike is actually still moving.

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

"compares the present speed to that of moments before"

I guess that sums up the crux of our discussion.

Yes, sgseller82, all these three are important and must-get, with the frame sliders a MUST, TOP on your priority list.

You can ask around here, many of us dropped this beauty without the frame sliders fixed yet and the pain (esp if you have drop it only 1 - 2 days after you bought a brand new ride) of dropping it is    + :( :( :( ...

I have dropped mine before while doing a "flinestones"-style 3-point turn... But luckily mine was a re-sale ride, but I feel    + :( :( :( as much too...

I remember there is a bro here who dropped his only a few days after purchasing his brand new 08 ride...   + :( :( :(

So do buy your pair of frame sliders and install them IMMEDIATELY before you ride the 08 beauty out of the bike shop.

Enjoy your ride and ride safely. This is one awesome beauty. :thumb: x 3

Cheers.

I bought mine from Autobac. $70 comes with build in volt-stabilizer. The small one(no stabilizer) U can get it from HKL. $40.

U tried Vector One? They are the distributor for HEL. I think Unique has a CMO on it. Mine 3 lines, $150.

Unique motorsports? They're the one that quote me $700 for the lines. They say only available from HEL. When did u change yours?

Less than a year ago. They have the CMO thread and that time got promo so I just get. If I'm not wrong, they get from Vector One actually. I can't confirm this statement but its definitely manufactured / assembled in Singapore.

Mine is non-ABS and 3 lines thats why so cheap.

my experience installing voltmeter(autogauge) on my previous bike is pretty useless..(my opinion). shows 12.5-13.5 volt..next day cant start..battery dead..have to change battery.this thingy for me just to make bike beautiful..so when i sold that bike, i just left it, i only remove my stebel horn n alarm only..if its useful i have already taken out n transfer to my fjr..
