ha ha ha if yr 07 is the last batch made with km then thats yr chance ha ha ha anyway i m still adjusting to look at the red colour to remember its km in reading

sorry i shd say its the 06 end .....anyway just move yr eyes to the km reading just beside the mile thou its smaller to see....remember red = km

Heya, got my first FJR earlier this month. It's not black ;)

 

Someone on a silver FJR passed me on westbound AYE this morning in the traffic & gave me thumbs up. Didn't have time to wave back...

 

Someone a few pages ago asked how to change the odometer from displaying miles to km. Any idea? I read through the manual but it doesn't say...

 

Won't make the ride on the 31st but looking forward to meeting up!

Hahahah....timing too early i think. did not realise that its sunday not saturday. No jam when going into malaysia.

Yah, I've already gotten used to the spedometer, it's just annoying converting miles to km each time I wanna know how much distance I covered.

URGENT ADVISE NEEDED!

 

anyone did timing chain/tensioner change before? what about valve clearance? what are the prices??

 

i sent my bike to workshop just now regarding the sound from my engine. i have a strong feeling it's my timing chain or tensioner. they said they have to open up the engine to see what's wrong, and top service would cost about 1.2k. if change timing chain/tensioner only can not? or gasket all must change also..arghhh!!! this cant be happening...:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

 

anyway, anyone knows where to get those black-coloured reflective stickers for our panniers? been looking high and low..

i love the FJR too...

perhaps they`re just 2 bikes too similar...

 

esp the 2 exhuast and the `boomz`,

somehow the GTR is too `quiet` for my liking, (aint no complaining, but had always wished the GTR to sound more `manly` keke..

:dot:yeup big bucks expected out of those repairs; wanna lower yr budget ask the mech what parts needed and get them from auto machinery @ rowell rd as yr moto tiam sure jack up the price 1:dot:

actually before i buy my babe (FJR) i also got consider GTR too but maybe it is becos of it name & hard to find its spare parts, it turn me off.

however, now i just love my FJR. it is truly a good bike to have.

 

When will our FJR & GTR combine ???????

I did mine at HKl after i got the bike. it was $800. including 100% replacement parts like gaskets. changed the tensioner, slider and chain.

 

sound doesn't go away, but i know my chain and tensioner is good.

 

went to HLC to reconfirm that the HKL did a good job with the valve clearance. another $200
