bros, seeking for advice...sumtyms my ABS light always lit when i do front n rear hard braking..but when i turn off/on the ignition, the light went off..in fact, ive already change the rear sensor last yr..the thing is now, i do not know which sensor is faulty..is the ABS model always have tis problem??

 

which model u riding? read in overseas FJR forum, this problem is a common fault in the '04 & '05 models.

Hi guys. I have a problem with my front fork.

 

When i rock my front fork. (Compression and depression of fork) My left handlebar will have a clicking feeling. My right side is perfectly fine. Could this be due to the wheel bearing?

 

Alternatively, my brakes seems to be a little inconsistant in braking. the FJR does not comes in steel hoses and my hose has not been changed for 4 years now. Could it be air has entered it or hose has expanded? I have neve opened the brake portion at all. Window at the front looks a little milky though.

 

Anyone has this feeling?

 

First instinct is steering cone bearing. When you hands free do you experience headshake?

THe mech jacked the bike up and asked me to turn the handle bar from left to right. It would seems that when the wheel is straight, it feels like the wheel has fallen into a groove. Its seems like there is a groove specially placed there to make sure the bike goes straight. Hands free, the bike still go straight. Thats how he tell me my steering cone is gone.

Ya i think so too. Changed my clutch plate but my steering cone will have to wait till i come back from the Durian trip tomorrow. MEch told me i need to fix it in and ride around then adjust again when the handle bar becomes shaky. SO if i fix it today, the adjustment i have to do at the durian plantation.

have been down with numbers of mishap this few months..

the current most chialat..

i was riding slow on filter lane..

while checking main traffic(clear) saw lorry infront of me..

so i slow down again and check main traffic(clear again)..

when i turn again the lorry jammed brake at give way line..

so..i jammed brake but not enough time to stop..

engine stalled headlight drop down..

front ferring broke..haiz...

windshield still movable..

 

any ideas where to get 2nd ferring..

probably the headlight ferring(3parts)??

if first hand how much?

dun have to do anything. just live with it. 1 day u will realise how to brake in order that the ABS will not fail so easily.

Any reccomendations for a 60,000km servicing? Bike as from previous owner has not done anything except for the routine EO change and misc wear & tear... I'm focusing the question more on engine servicing... What to do with the bike for svc and where to go...
