i'm not sure bout the market price of the suspension but am looking to exchange my after market kayaba (KYB) suspension w/canister type for your stock + you top up $200.00 fits all models of s4

i feel its a good rear suspension better than stock (showa)

i last bought at 400.00 a set

Hi to all...

 

can anyone help me out here...i think my right suspension fork is leaking. after washing my bike, i discovered some fluid seems like oil near de black seal...I wipe it off wif a tissue n confirm its fork oil..any shop in de east side i can go to? how much will the servicing cost?

u need to change the fork seal n the dustcover...

$55 for 1 so 2 is $110. cos u'll normally change both.

 

bike lab is 1 option... can ask ard for more info on where can change...

HKL also same 55 for one$110 for both it better to change both together!!

as above title, I found that stock VTEC3 suspension kinda soft..resulting in a pogo-ing effect when riding or kena pothole ..although not dat serious, I definely think can be improved......

 

So after read the manual, I stiffen the rear shock to 4th (stock 3rd position) and front forks to 2nd groove(stock 3rd groove from the top) and it makes a whole lot of difference.!!

 

Riding becoming more smooth and better control.and .I.just wana share my experience wif u guys...but keep in mind dat suspension settings depends on individual rider weight and extra accesories like box ..for mine ,just me alone riding...

 

And me got rid of sratches on my exhaust by pillion..after sandpaper and metal polish...looks and ride sweet ...cheers

Any 1 encounter that when u brakek the front fork go down and come up after braking, but have any of u guys try standing up??? My bike will come up to its full lenght. Issit normal???Must i do anything?

 

When cornering the back suspension like very soft and bouncing left and right. Any got this feeling?Need advice.

for the front fork i think its normal...standard setting for front fork is quite soft...go to any shop ask them to put in a bit of fork oil...if ur riding v.s or spec 3 05 can adjust ur front fork....

 

 

ur back sus. has it been adjusted to the max....???if yes i advise u to go to bikelab to servise ur sus. or get bitubo..hahahahaha

Most bike shops do fork seals. Everyone will have their favourite.

Guy , i believe Super4 rear suspension got 4 level of adjustment usin the special tool from the tool box , so i wanan know higher the knob is harder or lower is harder ? Anyone can tell me , so far ma knob Its @ the 2nd knob fron the btm ... Kinda soft nw...

So in short , how to adjust the knob to increase hardness .. THANKS

stock showa got 5 setting...to go more stiffer,click higher,...stock setting at 3rd setting...do take note to balance ur front fork setting to match ur rear shock setting..
