Hi,

I have a Yamaha Fazer 1000, which has two headlights and two smaller 'pilot' lights on the top corners. I am thinking of replacing these small bulbs with LEDs, red on one side, blue on the other. The layout is kind of similar to the bright lights seen in user fnee's sig:

But with red and blue instead of both blue. Is there any legality issue with this (impersonating police vehicle etc)?

(Bro, I borrow your sig for demo purposes, hope you don't mind :D )

If possible, I would like them to flash alternately:

left on, right off

left off, right on

Assuming I can get this to work, is there any legality issue associated with this? Please advise! :help:

Or if anybody has done this before, your info would be greatly appreciated! :thumb:

Thanks a lot!

do it with a switch.... off when see tp or rov. leds only red at the back when braking is legal, any other colors are illegal

Looking at the ride tells everything about the rider

you'll need to have a circuit made to enable the flashing thingy.

and it's not legal.

and no worries about borrowing my signature. at least you bothered to put in "(Bro, I borrow your sig for demo purposes, hope you don't mind icon-biggrin.gif )" :cheeky:

All LED mods are illegal i guess. I just got stopped just now. He said that LTA will come and check my bike.

Anyway this TP officers are very sneaky. You don't know that they are around until they are beside you. Thats what i encountered. Idiots me.

I do believe tat changing the bulbs to other colors is considered illegal modifications . It all depends on whether TP or ROV to decide if they wan to summon u or give u a warning .

I kana warning from ROV for installing a blue pilot light on my F4i .
