WOW.....what a disappointment....unusual for Singapore to have something that badly thought out;

1) No stalls selling biker gear

2) Minimal sponsors giving away freebies for the kids

3) No food stalls selling tea/coffee/food etc

4) Stunt rider was average at best....

Sad to say I really miss the bikefests in the UK, camping out, plenty food stalls, attractions for the kids (go-karts etc), decent biker stalls

Hopefully MOTUL and Singapore bikers can learn from elsewhere??

2nd concur here, too little booths and not much activities... A simple stall to sell refreshment also wasn't found... Mostly are empty spaces...

I have to say SBF event at Scape was sooo much better

hot like hell and nothing!!

Super hot weather and by noon, pretty much nth left at the event... don see any crowd at all and only maybe around 100 gathered when leah's turn to perform and thats all...

expectation to be a big event was a little high though!

hopefully the next year event will be a much better one with the feedbacks given.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Overhyped on the pre event promo..

The event doesnt fit to be called a FEST.. More of a PEST..

Waste of time being there and true enuf even the SBF anniversary event was way way better despite being just a forum compared to some big name EO company...

LOL so i wasn't the only one disappointed? Got a shock at the number of booths when I reached there, like you can finish looking at everything in 10 mins tops.

To be fair, the event was run well enough as far as the logistics of crowd-control and venue management went, and the organisers did try to put on a show.

The huge let-down was the very limited number of participating merchants from the industry. I can understand the absence of F&B stalls since it's right beside all that the Turf City Grandstand has to offer, but a "vendor village" comprising a paltry five stalls makes for a very sad little festival.

As far as campaigns go, whatever awareness of the brand was raised by this event is probably offset by the disappointment those who went felt. Let's hope next year's event (if it happens) will turn out better.

True that... But maybe the only problem is that they created too much hype for the event but in the end didnt meet everyone's expectation...

But there is still one funny thing abt the event, they allow people to register on their website for the goodie bag, sending and click confirmation emails, requesting us to print our coupons with serial numbers for the collection of the goodie bag yet end up giving them by first come first serve... So whats the whole point of registering!?

I present my slip and asked one of e staff at e booth and all he could ans back was just a blank stare and "sorry"

Pretty much a LMAO incident i feel, LOL

Unless they ran TV, radio and print ads that I missed, I wouldn't consider buying a permanent pop-up on SBF and having a Facebook page too much hype. :)

They want the contact details of their potential customers. Giving you a goodie bag (what was inside, BTW?) is payment for valuable marketing data, which I hope they won't end up selling to data miners.

Well now I get the impression Motul is crap.

Perhaps they realised themselves on that day it will be mundane and hence first come first serve basis was started.

There was a can of some spray thingy some stickers and a motor culture mag. The bag is handy for me to bring when I go to the market. Edited by duo

the venue was good though BUT hot as sahara desert for the day

the gymkhana was a good idea however it seems like not alot of people took part in it and the prizes weren't that attractive so to speak

perhaps MOTUL could have a tied up with local shops/agents to showcase their latest model line up

an off road or trail section for people to try it out? a pocket bike section for children to try biking as well?

oh wells
