Guy, now HKL selling BAGSTER tank BRA for V-TEC1/2/3 @ $160. Got Blue n Red wing(Pic at below). HKL also have Ver S BAGSTER tank BRA too, but is fully black with no wing n wording CB400. For the ver s bra i not sure. U can check HKL website at http://www.teamhklracing.com

dun go HKL n buy, not worth it. i went there on e same day i went to MotorWorld. HKL quote mi $165 for all e Bagster Tank bra. He die die dun reduce e prise for u de. i told him SG bike Forum got ppls say is at $140. but he replied mi ask e pple hu say cum n tok to him. haha. no choice. ended up i travel to Motorworld n purchase. cost mi $150. afterall, MotorWorld is e distributor for all e Bagster Tank Bra. I saw e Bra with no wing but with a CB400 wording too at MotorWorld. cost oso e same price at$150. but i m not vv sure issit suitable for Version S. happy hunting for Bagster Tank Bra.

im not sure if u guys noe abt this, but there's a kind of steel wire which is surrounded by rubber sort of casing.. and to attach it, u need to crim a metal bracket to hold it together..

i used this wire on the strap at the bottom of the seat, near the tank..

so for thieves to get the bra, he needs to cut the strap which is virtually impossible if he's using sumthing like a penknife to slip under the seat..

hi Bro, jz wanna noe has any1 use a normal tank bag on a Bagster tank bra? which mean e bag is non bagster kind type. those with magnetic type but use on e bagster tank bra? tot of buying e normal type 1, but afraid it might not fit.

just a few questions to ask

 

1)where is the cheapest to buy?

2)Motorworld selling 160. LAB? if LAB cheaper, is it same quality?

3)is there only one brand called bagster?

4)say i get a tankbra, is it spec1 spec2 spec3 all can fit?

5)do pple steal tankbras? is it easy to steal if i put?

6)anyone here wanna sell?

7)if i put, then its rains, do ur quickly take out to dry? I was told it'll get soaked. then its bad for the paint work.

LAB selling cheaper but the quality is different. Motoworld is selling the Bagster's 1, which is much better then LAB's 1.

Yes, Spec 1,2 n 3 can fit the same tankbra.

For me i normally take out the tank bra, wash n wax my tank once a week. So far the paintwork still looks veri good. I heard if u too long nvr take out n maintain, ur paintwork will go bad.

Well there is only one ledge to secure the tankbra at the fuel tank there..

depends on each estate thief or theft cases

Easy if u are at Bukit Panjang, Sengkang, Woodlands and other young teenager estate..

 

Easy if u did not install an alarm(anyway alarm is not a preventive measure, its just to delay time or frighten cats or kan cheong theif nia... )

 

Easy if u park at MSCP.

 

Easy if ur tank bra is other than black with silver wings(cos other colour tank bra is quite appealing For Exp. Red Tankbra with White wings, or Yellow Tank Bra..)

 

Not so easy if u cover ur bike

 

if u going to be away for 3 days or more and u not gonna touch ur bike, remove it and put it at home. it worth the effort. Xin Ku is better than losing one..

i have bagster tank bra on my bike..

basically i just wipe it with water n let it to dry.

 

comments on people i know who use leather polish..

they say in the long run, the bra will tend to be "belapuk"

but i saw 1 guy from my mscp with a black tank bra with red stripe, but his stripe not plastic plastic like the pic above, his is like leather red. i wonder where he got it. i will try to take a picture of his bike when i see it.

He get normal tank bra and rewrap the wings @ shop that re-wrap seat . Can be done .

Just go Motoworld tell the guy u need to customise 1 tank bra.

he will give u the sample material.1 stack of them.

Just choose ur colour tell him the colour code and pay your deposit.

waiting time should be ard 1-2 mths.
