It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Correct me if I'm wrong, no laws are being broken if we do not have any of the items in our possession whilst riding. As long they're valid in records, we should be fine. But of course, best to have it to avoid inconveniences in the event of being checked by the authorities. Personally, ive been stopped by TP without my roadtax and insurance. They simply had to do some radio-ing to dig up our infos and I was free to go. Now, my roadtax and insurance(photocopied shrinked) is always in my wallet. Just in case, I have em in softcopy too :)

Hahaha...these enforcements officers are a bunch of bollocks. If on the ball never display can saman? Hahhha...then might as well throw away that hi-tech gadget they bring around and go back to writing summons with a pen.

Maybe this is to increase the productivity of the parking attendance. Imagine if all the vehicles do not display the tag, they have to manually key in the number to the system. They also have a schedule to meet. If it only takes 30 seconds to scan one tag compared to 1 min to manually key in, multiply by the number of vehicles per MSCP, it will waste alot of time.

Usually if they really summon you, you can write in to appeal as you have a valid season. So you waste their time, they also wasted yours. It kinda fair????

The IU is more for those carpark using the EPS system. In this case, you do not need the tag. The season is tied to your IU instead.

If not wrong, by law, we have to display. Minus the insurance paper lah. It too big to display on the bike! Ya, I also don't display. Just pack everything nicely, waterproofed in the underseat compartment. Usually they are okay. Anyway for bike, they will usually ask you to stop one side to check you insurance.

bike insurance paper? which is that? the one the agent give? that one must bring along?

Yes, by right need to bring along to avoid any inconvenience. TP is very "concern" about insurance for motorcycle as only the main and sub rider can ride the bike. Unlike for cars, almost anyone with license can drive with the owner's permission. So it one way for them to ensure the riders are insured.

Usually when you purchase a new insurance, the agent may give you a cover note. This is only temporary while they will send you the official insurance at a later date. You need to keep the official one when you got it. You may photocopy it.
