DNA180 corner

Wah guys.... just realised pre-ride check is so important...

Luckily I do it always...

 

 

Discovered a long nail stuck deep into my rear tyre. Luckily tyre not flat yet. Went to nearby shop to have it mended. Cost as much as mending a car tyre... 10 bucks.

 

I wonder if the tyre will have less grip - since the soft rubbery substance they use to plug the nail hole protrudes our of the surface of the tyre...?

Woah, think I better start doing my pre-ride checks too. Nowadays got a lot of "bas***ds" messing with my DNA. Think someone is not happy that I am parking in a certain lot, always find rubbish, etc. on my bike. Going to hide somewhere and wait for him. Beat him up or scratch his vehicle I will!

You've been taken for a ride my fren.. It cost around 3bucks at most shops... There's this once I kena 'tock' 'big time', I was charged 6bucks... Hee.. Seems like yr neck's longer than mine..

then relaced the back tyre, on average it would cost about $6,

$3 is a good deal, $10 u know now lah next time to ask for discount!!!!

The tyre lasted forever mate... Almost.. ha. I did not recall the mended tyre gone kaput.. But those were done on my sportsbike.. Not on my present scoot..

 

$80 for what tyre? If its gold standard, than its a GREAT DEAL!!!!!

He he, oh ya hor! No wonder our Police Force is one of the best in the world. They all hiding in random locations islandwide waiting for the crime to happen! But although I do not doubt the capability of our police force, but certain stuff they tend to overlook. Like the amount of illegally modified cars and "BIKES!", he he he, realise that after midnight, Singapore roads become minature Sepang and Pasar Gudang tracks.

 

WE HAVE MORE MODIFIED CARS THEN TAXIS NOW!

 

Hmmm, I think for the DNA, to repair the hole should be ok as the DNA is a relatively light bike, plus it is not really capable of high performance so there is not much pressure or force acting on the seal compared to other bikes!

Hey...i agree with you to a certain extend....

 

Cos our bikes attract quite a lot of attention on the road, even when parked....

 

Just now, I parked my bike illegally on a pavement and went opposite to have dinner. From my table i could still see my bike clearly.... Within half hour, at least 4 persons stopped for a closer look at the bike, not knowing i was observing them...

 

Well, there are also downsides... Because it attracts attention, people tend to go closer and have a look. Pranksters looking for a target also tend to spot this one first.....

Love to park my bike in view while having dinner, nowadays got the alarm, everytime I see people "those with trouble written on them", I press my remote and the alarm scares the crap out of them. Love the shock they get! He he he, I feel so evil...

 

The other day was seeking shelter under a bridge at Lentor with this TP. He ask one very funny question, how come 2A bike got P-plate! Ha ha ha, man, I told him it was a 180cc scooter-naked sports bike hybrid. Felt great while he was admiring my bike, and I was doing vice-versa with his!

I might need to go.. Might need more roller changes... As Im going around in circles with my jetting... Its driving me crazy... haven't had so much prob trying to jet a single machine before! Its absurd!!

I was on the opposite side of the road, plus I was sitting shotgun while mygf drove, if it was me at the wheel, do a 360 handbrake turn then give chase liaoz!
