Bro, almost all phantom parts are still available.

But they are not cheap, and a good option will be used parts from shop like Planet & others, or scrap yard.

Honda's chrome is really good quality. Most of the time you can clean rust on Chrome with stainless steel wool. Unless the rust has penetrated deep.

You can't remove stain on wheel, fork lower and other Aluminium parts. Clear coated or painted Aluminium can be refreshed by polishing (high maintenance later...), or repainted.

Bike finally completed, after 2 years...yay!

Gave it a fresh new life to be what it should be, a race breed from it's origin, NSR 150.

Bro @Ghost_VLX care to share a little more on the whole of your project?

What are the things you have changed and how much have you spent? Its a masterpiece imo.. intending to sell any time soon?

Wearing of a full face and jacket is a safety statement., its not a fashion statement.

An eye for an eye makes the world go blind,

it is then two wrongs to not result in a right.

Bro Ghost_VLX, how do you trim the seats like you mentioned earlier? Do you DIY or shop do it?

Hi Bro, I cut the plastic base along the sides with saw blade. If you notice my seat line is now above the rear shock mounting bolt. Basically I make it slimmer viewed from the sides. Then I shaved the sponge at rear end to make it streamline, instead of the boxy stock shape. DIY up to here. Once basic profile is there, I brought it to Eugene at Jalan Besar. I ask him to shave the rider seat as thin as possible (need tool for this), and smoothen all surface. Then re-wrap.

Hi Bro, thanks. Sure. Other than the things I mentioned above:

1. Reshape font and rear fender. Install a matching tail light (reshape the fender again and again), need strong bracket, I use 5mm thick steel plate, 50mm wide screwed to the fender sub frame.

2. Lowered rear suspension about 2-3 inch with my DIY lowering kit. Stiffened the spring so it wont bottom up when riding 2 up (you have to disassemble the shock).

3. Stiffened the front fork by adding spacer to the spring, use 20W fork oil (220ml each fork, stock Honda is 7W), lengthen the whole tube with extended fork cap (machined from solid stainless steel). This cap is being used to clip my handle bar.

This set up makes the bike very stable in high speed, cornering, and not too wobbly during low speed zig zagging. Seat in the bike very low.

4. Install fork tube cover need to modify the fork seal slightly. No 3 & 4 is essential to alow me installing the fork tube cover, with little modification to fork lower it self.

5. Cover plate for upper tripple tree, 5mm steel plate cut with water jet, finished with powdercoate.

6. Powdercoat pillion foot peg holder, black anodized peg from Rizoma with custom bracket, machined to fit phantom peg female holder.

7. The rest can be seen.

The bike is for sale.

Email me at herbert_lim@yahoo.com. I hardly have a chance to open pm from this forum.

Cheers bro.

Get caught = scrap your bike. cause frame is cutted/modified/chopped. Frame integrity is not there already. (according to your gahment.)

anyone knows what will happen if modify the frame / chassis of the bike? like if I cut away the two bars at the back of the frame, the one that holds stock signal light?

Dude, frame integrity does not include/involve screws & bolts. Its about the frame itself.

Every part of the frame has a purpose for stability/weight/balance etc etc (According to gahmen).

Thats why you cannot cut any part of the frame, the bike or rather, the FRAME would be deem not road worthy.

Since the frame is not road worthy, thy have to scrap the frame. The engine and the frame is a package, so yea, your bike is gone. *poof!*

wah, like that i take out one screw only frame intergrity gone?

Any way to get approval or make legal???
