hmm. this is what i try with my friend. currently i'm riding a spec 3 without redrev. i'm able to throttle to 13.5 to 14k rpm max. whereas my friend, his spec 1 with redrev only manage to hit 13 - 13.5k rpm. tested when both bike on stationery. can someone explain to me why is it so? is it because my friend the redrev is faulty? thanks

i basically cleared my OEM meter a few times without using redrev..

the needle is moving beond 190kph, but in actual fact we are not accelerating at all after 180kph..

IMO, S4 is limited in speed, not RPM exactly.. as most cars are restricted in RPM..

For S4, when you reach 180kph, you still can maintain at 180kph, just that you cannot get any higher..

but for cars, once you reach 180kph.. the RPM will cut and you will lose speed..

speedcut for cars

speedcut again

analog speedo reading may not be accurate, IMO GPS or a fine tuned digital speedo would be more accurate..

please do clear some air/ shed some light here.. do it safely too..

anyone????

14Krpm is abit wierd coz mine when hit 13.5Krpm max..13-13.1krpm is about 199.50KM,clocked using my sigma speedo. During that time i was tailing a spec 1 just inches away. Guess that "mangkuk" is going maybe abit nearer to 200km/h.
