According to the US site. It's around 10 grand US. The Dragstar 1100 is around 9k US and it's going for around 15k Sing $. So maybe that's a rough gauge?

You mean V star 1300 is less than S$20,000~? Sounds too good to be true :p

In my opinion the V-star is a very good looking Cruiser, besides Honda VTX, Kawasaki VN & Suzuki Boulevard :p

Yeah, every time I see a big Japanese Cruiser I will sure take a second look. Although they sometimes unable to squeeze traffic, but I find that they have big road presence. :p

I went to HL today as well. The salesman has no idea when the VStar1300 will be coming in :giddy:

Maybe a bit off topic in this thread, but I was at Mah Motor this evening to check out the Valkyrie Rune when I spotted this Roadliner Midnight hiding in the shelter on the ground floor next to the showroom :lovestruck:

I asked the salesman if that was for sale and he said its for export (as expected) coz the bike is not approved for sale in Spore.

Nonetheless, its a great chance to eyeball Yamaha's Biggest Cruiser in the flesh.. go view it ASAP before they crate it!

Thanks for the update, I think the main reason is there are no big demands for these big cruisers in Singapore, especially the road condition here & the fuel these big cruisers consume.

But look into other way, thats what makes them a rare beauty on the road :p

got a silly question (which i really curious). does dragster means that it is more or less a drag bike?

drag usually means that the bike has very good tork (pick up speed), and mostlikely very good on low and mid range with good top speed. you know, like muscle bike (vmax, magna750, etc)

I know dragstar 1100 can maintain 160km/h comfortablely. so the top speed is pretty good already.

i am just curious of the "drag" word in the bike.

Its probably just a name

Imagine what the Triumph Rocket III can do, if we are to take the bike names seriously!

Agreed, its just probably a name to distinguish from other products.

May be there is a story behind it~ :p
