Hi guys,

Wondered if it was only me or if you guys experienced it, normally I take the PIE to work in Pasir Ris over the last few months, and noticed that there are sometimes the following on the overhead bridge.

1) A camera (does not look like a speed camera)

2) A camera (not speed camera) with an umbrella on top

3) A camera (not speed camera) with 2 civilians standing there

4) A civilian dressed person holding a camera (he was there for at least 2 hours cause I saw him when I was heading somewhere, and saw him again on the way home.)

From looks of it, are they trying to wayang? Don't know if it is only me who saw them, but I saw a group of them standing on the 3 overhead bridges on the PIE starting from the one after the off ramp for the Eunos exit a few sundays in a row, normally in the evening.

Cheers!

That's their problem. If not speeding, why worry and the need to jam brake?

its a shame we can't ride with shotguns..shoot them off the bridge.

i've come across many people who have an "auto reaction" when they see something resembling TP,and will automatically jam brake..

very dangerous hobby by these fellas on the bridges.they should take up jogging instead.

I have noticed them too, and they were there from dawn to dust. They seem to be there just guarding the camera, unlike the TP who will stand right next to the cam and continuous monitoring the cam operations. I would suspect they are LTA contractors engaged to monitor the traffic flow, I bet is that the ERP along PIE will be revised soon.

Is not a survey equipment, it's a video camera. Two cameras on each sheltered overhead bridge, unlike the TPs which aims at the oncoming traffic, these cameras aimed the opposite directions, ie. the rear of the car.
