There will be another outing, Princess. No worries. Seems like the gang will be going back there next Friday.

But I was impressed with the place though. You gotta see it.

Very tastefully decorated with alot of Spanish influence.

A placed named Marabella, Spanish decor serving Iranian food.

Reserved parking lots for bikes right at the front door in full view of the diners inside.

And yes.. its great when the owner, the cook, the waitresses of the establishment are your good friends.

Today 7 of us ate lamb chops, some shellfish dish, 2 servings of fish... all done in Iranian style.. and a bottle of Tiger and the bill was RM146. Mind you... this is a fully aircon restaurant too. About RM20 per person or should I say less than ten Singapore dollars for the meal. Tell me........ how to go wrong??

care to gib me directions to there?

Directions given as assuming you come in to Perling from the 2nd Link.

After passing the toll, there is a 4 way traffic light junction. Turn right at the lights and go about 2 km in. You will initially pass some private housing area. The road is basically straight but you will come to a quite sharp left bend.. once you clear the bend.. there is a row of 2 storey shophouses.

The Marabella Bistro and Lounge and hotel is there. Can't miss it with its glass and wood decor. Newest looking establishment in that row of shophouses. Occupies two shophouses even.

Mebbe you can join us this Friday evening. We missed out on the Irainian Steamed Beef Rice so we are going back for it. Hmmm the lamb chops and the fish was good too. Mebbe we should go back for all of it again.

Tashi, Ken, Chilly - are we game for this Friday????

It is not very easily noticeable till you hit it.

It is just at the part when you start the left curve after leaving the BKE.

The other option is to ride on the right hand side of the left lane, say about 2 feet on the inside of the line that separates the inner and outer lane.... you bound to hit it.

Now there is a porthole beginning to form after the bump. Looks like the asphalt that they laid down is not sticking again..

Not bad sequence... first a hump and then a porthole, one for an uplifting feeling and the other for a sinking feeling.

HOLY sh*t MY FLY WAS WIDE OPEN LIKE THE SEA MOSES PARTED. i was in the centre lane and 2 cars pulled up alongside me. a cub was behind me too. i kicked to neutral and stood up fumbling to button my fly while the whole world watched

the light was red so it was still legal. what made it worse was the fact that i wore black jeans and my underwear was a pair of white byfords!!!11 omg the tank pushed my jeans up where it parted at the fly. i don't believe i didn't notice the extra ventilation.... :slapforehead:

I know it is better to hang out when taking corners fast but this is taking the idea of hanging out to the extreme!! :slapforehead: :faint:

And when the sea parted... did it reveal a floundering Sperm whale or a little floundering Sand Eel??

Sorry but I just could not resist this.:sorry:

If you are entering the slip road to KJE whilst coming in from the BKE from the direction of Woodlands.... watch out for a big hump caused by pushed up tar on the inner left lane. It is about 3/4 outboard in the left lane. It would be safer to ride on the right hand outer lane when entering the slip road.

Saw a Superfour hit and lost control and crashed this morning. Nothing is worst than hitting a bump in the middle of a high speed corner.

Take care my fellow bikers.

Maybe we guys should be reporting the hazards that we encountered during our daily commute for sharing with the rest so that our fellow bikers do not get caught off guard.

The KJE Corner Bump has claimed another victim this morning.

As I started the left hand bend... I saw in the distance pieces of orange coloured plastics on the road (broken signal light lens) some distance after the bump.

Malaysian cub kia propped up against the retaining wall and rider sitting on the road with back against the wall. Another cub kia rider squatting next to him. Could see that there tears and rips on his pants, shoes still lying on the road... cars running over one of them.

Wonder how many more will fall victim before the LTA will do something about it.

The heavy traffic is pushing the asphalt outwards and making the bump bigger and longer.

that's where our hero, Raptor comes into play! he shall draft a letter to the LTA and make sure they repave that spot! :cheer:

Already did, except that it is not by letter... it was a phone call. I like the personal approach better.

For the kind of road tax I am paying....I relish every opportunity to give the LTA a verbal fugging of their life with regards to road conditions!!!!:thumb: :thumb:
