Thanks Bro...

Why just to own one for the weekend? Its a good transport bike too.

hmmm.. ture enough. alot of guys at work are using the drz4 as their daily bikes. 3 with leo vince end cans and 1 with a full yoshimura trioval exhaust system.

anyway, motoworld start stocking up racing parts for the DRZ4, like fast throttles, racing carburators.. but yup, we dont need that for daily riding. haha

yup i felt insulted too. especially when he said, "you're (me) just riding a 400cc bike, i'm riding a liter bike. why spend so much on jackets and stuffs? you buy LAB gloves suah!". as if he didnt have to go through 2A.

:offtopic: Can someone tell me why are those big sportsbike called "a litre sportsbike"?

Is it because they consume 1 litre of fuel per KM or they can only contain 1 litre of fuel, or is it some other reason?

Thanks for enlightening me

its called liter bike as its a 1000cc bike. so 1L = 1000cc. 2L = 2000cc.. and so on and so forth.

wah i feel insulted man! cos i wear FF, jacket, gloves and riding boots on a regular basis unless it's raining then i dun wear gloves. it's for safety and i think you should terkan your friend back.

I second that, Lass! I wear FF, armoured jacket, gloves and waterproof boots on a daily basis... Of course, me just riding a small small bike (Phantom) and I get "slammed" by others many times.

But hey, so what? All of us are born with a mouth, just let them say what they want. As long as I know I'm doing this for my safety, that is more than sufficient!

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

Today while riding back, I saw a lot of TP! Are they having an operatiion or wat?

One along SLE under Yishun flyover, then 2 along SLE near Mandai a few minutes after the first one I saw, and another one at Woodlands Ave 2, all within that span of 5 minues..phew...

Bro, i agree with you. Sometimes people give me a stare. Cause i wear wind breakers and gloves. They must be thinking "This guy act as if he ride Class 2 bike. Ride 150 only wear glove la what la". But i wear those to prevent my skin from getting darker. now i'm thinking of tinted visor to protect my face. :)

Guys, it doesn't matter if you are riding big or small, scooter or sports bike cos they are all on 2 wheels and protection is equally impt. :)

:thumb: I did the same as you when i was riding my nsr too, even though that meant a lot of gear to lug around since i did not have a box. I used to get some funny stares and initially I was very conscious of others looking at me on my small bike at traffic lights. But as time goes by i kinda realize its all just happening in my head.. Now i think i look darn good in my gear whenever people look at me at traffic lights. It just takes a shift of perception on our own part. I also think i look damn improperly dressed for the ride if i'm not at least with my ff and gloves and shoes as a minimum attire. Haha.. Keep up the good habit :)

I do not agree that big bike riders need more protection than pplaters. In fact I think its the oppsite. Its during our p plate days that most of us crash/self skid etc, and this is when we really could save a lot of skin with proper gear..

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

The only time i went down on public roads, i was wearing my usual gear. Lowsided on oil+water, hit the ground and then slid into the rear of an mpv. Because of my gear i managed to get right back up with no injuries. My wrist was a little sore for the rest of the day but fine the next morning.

Hooray for dumbasses, full-faces, armour and race gloves.

Lady, but some people think that we are wannabe. They don't know our purpose. :cheeky: :cheeky: . For me its more to prevent me from getting dark and keep me warm during the night rather than protection :cheeky:

he IS arrogant with his modded super 4 and his G1K6. always bragging. alot of people slammed him before, but it's just a matter of time till he kiss the tar.

we're all dumbasses i guess. but lets see who's the dumbass after skidding 20 meters on the tar!

i cant imagine skidding on tar without a jacket and gloves as naturally, we'll tend to use our palms to break the fall (well, at least for me).

Riding a small bike does not mean you will not fall. Riding a small bike does not mean the fall is going to be softer.

The road will always remain harder than your face no matter at what speed you fall.

Tried it out quite a few times already. :cheeky:

I swim in the sea of the unconscious. I search for your heart, pursuing my true self.
