Witnessed an accident right before my eyes. Girl on scooter along Esplanade Bridge Fri morning... was following a BMW SUV too closely, and couldn't stop in time when the car braked.. either hit it or caused her to lose her balance, fell to the left, and her head hit a passing lorrry carrying foreign workers. Scooter landed on top of her and she couldn't move. Ang moh couple got out of BMW and foreign workers got down from lorry. I helped carry the scooter off her, everyone called ambulance and a police scooter happened to pass by and came to help. She can still talk and no visible external injuries, just couldn't move. Good thing she didn't go under the lorry, just banged herself on it as it was going past.

 

Lesson: Don't tailgate and wear a good helmet, strapped in properly.

This could have turned out uglier... and I would not like to witness this kind.

 

Not just wear good helmet that is properly strapped on... please wear a DOT / SNELL approved full face... no PSB nevermind... PSB means nothing when compared to SNELL or DOT standards and that may differentiate between life and death.

was on the way home earlier when i saw this harley with a lot of blue lights & i did a double take even when i was turning....e lights were so distracting.

Must be too damn busy catching people for tinted visors, noisy and smoky exhausts pipes that won't result in accidents which can kill or injure other inocent parties. Phooey... where lah the priorities??

yesterday while riding to work on Boon Lay Way, there was a Malaysian car that is super slow. i overtook him, only to see him spreading newspaper or some reading materials over his steering plate. blardy hell! cannot wait till office then read!

 

by the way, on my way to work also saw a lorry driver driving with one hand, eating his fried kway teow and coffee. sigh, when do ppl learn that multitasking is a term coined by employer to milk more out of you.

this has nothing to do with being fierce....it really got into me cos tat was how i was involved in an accident (as a pillion & my hubby was riding) with a car just over the last weekend - irresponsible drivers barging into your lane.

today while riding at junction a malaysian lacer rides slowly on the left of the vehicles about to turn right or u-turn,

 

and he made a crazy u-turn abruptly without due care cutting right infront of a taxi before the taxi does a u-turns! Imagine the taxi turns right, I would applaud and laugh on the spot. lol

 

malaysian lacing as usual, but commonly seen at causeway and bke with their stunts.

 

beware of these nonsensical people that ride without brains.
