today while riding nearly langa into a idiotic pedestrian. traffic was beginning to moved off as the red light 30-40metres ahead of me just turned green so i was lane splitting to the front at around 30kmh, wa lau, got a shock of my life when this indian woman clad in sarong suddenly appeared on my left as i was lane splitting, she was stupidly jaywalking between the vehicles on the 3 lane road. i was lane splitting between lane 1 and 2. wth. traffic light just ahead, why can't she use the damn traffic light? she was hidden among the vehicles so it was virtually impossible to see her, if she had walked 1 or 2 secs quicker i sure langa into her one... idiot. want to jaywalk also wait till road clear la, even for me, i wont jaywalk when the road is full of vehicles even the traffic is not moving. who knows when a motorcycle will zoom pass?

Wah. Power seh, very strong will power.

hahaha... dunno wad the hell i was thinking also. but cant leave the bike in the middle of nowhere mah. the adrenaline rush did help a bit too. whole body was numb till i dismount at alexandra hospital. feeling relieved, the whole body just relax and there comes the pain lol

Wah you very "deng" (hard) ah... Anyways, speedy recovery!

lucky i had my jacket and boots on. if not i think i will end up more cui than both the vehicles. was inspecting my jacket and army boots last nite. the elbow protector took most of the impact and the mash took the tarmac. and for the first time in my life, i thanked SAF for their gortex boots. saved my ankle cos the exhaust was crushing directly on it

thanks for the well wishes :D

This morning on the way to work... came up to an MPV along SLE after the Thomson Road flyover. The left rear tyre was already half deflated and the woman driver was still driving at 90 KMH.

So I accelerated and overtook her, slowed down abit and turned back and tried to tell her that by pointing to my rear tyre and using my finger and thumb to show her the deflating sign and also thumbs down.

Really don't know what the cow read my signs as but she gave me the 'Humph' kind of look, flashed high beam, sped up and overtook me without even a sideward glance!! :faint:

I thought of chasing her coz its going to be dangerous driving at high speeds when that rear tyre gives out, she might lose control of the vehicle... but then I asked myself why should bloody risk my life in the heavy morning traffic for an unappreciative cow?

Then I remembered Chris Rea's song Road to Hell where there is verse that goes 'The road to hell is paved with good intentions'.

Mebbe when the tyre goes flat completely and she is stuck at the side of the road waiting for assistance... she might recall what I was trying to do.

this morning whilst riding, no wonder it was jam on the PIE. a biker was down. i think kena kiss by car. hope the rider is okay, saw him holding onto his legs ... then all the way congestion until clementi. *sigh*

then on the way back, took the AYE > PIE when it started to drizzle. congestion again. *SIGH* 3 cars kissed each other ~

talking about cyclist, just now an idiotic b**** just continued to cycle across the road even though he saw me as i was turning into the carpark. not surprising, he was on his phone. i just shook my head and slowed down whilst he continue crossing. another car turning out of the carpark nearly knock him and even horn at him. u know what the b**** did? he just continue riding like as if nothing happen. saw the driver raise his hands at the b**** . idiot, live long enough already never sayang his life one ah ....

and today, the most unwanted thing i didn't want to happen, happened. i finished pumping petrol, wanted to move off. suddenly, just suddenly, i lost my balance and fell along with my bike. WAHLAU DAMN PAISEH !!! luckily the pump attendant and a guy came to help me lift my bike up. if not, i dun think i can lift the bike all by myself. coz even when i dropped a wave few months back, i couldn't bring myself to lift the bike. bleah ! rode off frm the petrol station laughing at my own stupidity ...

now, my right fairing is not only cracked, but scratched ... *sad*

On the way home yesterday, after the downslope Junction exiting BKE turning into Mandai, there was a red car that cut into my lane while turning.

At the Red light, he was on the right and I was on the left waiting.

Then when turning I stick to my lane leaving him 2 lanes to turn into, 1 lane to turn right if he wanted to, and 1 more lane to go straight.

But Dam! He had to go into the 3rd lane, my lane!

Somemore I was infront of him, so he cannot possibly not see me.

I was so close, I could have stick out my right leg and kick his left headlight and signal light.

Horned him and sped off. Basssssstard...

glad you're ok bro. just another one of the many idiotic drivers we have on our roads.

this morning saw an ssdc instructor riding the ssdc's S4 along bedok south road. puzzling to see why a ssdc instructor will ride the sch's S4 all the way here. he is just alone by himself. stupid car prevented him from lane splitting by planting his car along the lane marking of the 2 lane road leaving plenty of space on the right next to a kerb. the instructor couldnt wait so he went to the right of that car, infront and parallel and off he goes, i just follow lor as i was behind the ssdc instructor. really wonder how this driver passed his driving test when he dont even have basic lane discipline.

Today while riding...

Was heading home from town after a long night's work, very stoned. Think i overtook an uncle on ta200 closer than i would want to, while lanesplitting through congested AYE. Probably he was cursing an swearing at me...

Sometimes i really wonder how i made it back home, when common sense already tell me i'm too tired to ride. The scary part is usually when i dismount and realise i cant even remember what happened throughout my journey. Keep telling myself, don't push my luck, next time rest first, but the next time brain switched off the same thing happens.

Haiz.

yah, whenever I hit the road been thinking that the next fellow that lie on the road might be me. So be patient, stay cool and look out for others as well as myself.
