what cheeky? what are you thinking? :p

u change to whatever you like la. perhaps, lucky?

it's quite common actually. usually, it happens when there's no one and they just turn to beat the red light so as not to wait like a stupid fool for nothing.

wasn't thinking of anything.

what were you thinking i was thinking, eh? ahah

eh, i did stop at stop line at traffic junction off simpang bedok, just me and my bike alone at the junction. traffic quite clear but i still guai2 wait for traffic light to turn green. heehee. but when i was working with pizzahut, it's a different story uh heh. *guilty*

yes, i really want to get something done. most ppl are just okay with minding their own busniness and going with the flow of things.

i as a rider (though still p plate) desire a safer and more condusive riding environment for me and for us riders and even responsible and considerate drivers.

sadly, it is a case of strong resolve but not able to do much.

how many TPs really care for a safer roads for all road users? idk but i feel they or most of them are just doing it for their ricebowl's sake...

we all desire for safer roads. who doesn't? but what more can we do but to just be more vigilant when on the roads. because these cagers, they dont care. BTT & FTT teach must NOT tailgate, still tailgate people so close.

and i think TP only care about summoning people. but there are some who're kind though. coz i was helped up by a TP who had to go attend something, didn't know what it was though. coz after taking down my particulars, he asked someone else to attend to my matter.

This is what I heard from a guy who went there to watch. He advised the little benglet to leave his bike at the carpark with the others and make himself scarce... but the idiot decided to try and ride his bike away via the bicycle path without turning on his lights but was intercepted by a TP and his bike got impounded.

Now if that is not the pinnacle of stupidity... I dunno what is. :faint:

Anyway... I think the TPs can slam him with any kind of charges they want since he is at their mercy now. Something is definitely going up his rear end for sure... the question now is how deep and big is it going to be.

still wanna ride the bike away? that, really is stupid.

dear STALKER on SGBikes.com ,

yours truly.

and today while going home from the shop and changing to motard wheelset, i got the shock of my life! it's getting so easy to pick up to 100km/hr. i wonder if that's real or not. i have 2 theories, either road wheels have more effective power output on the road surface than offroad wheels. or the smaller motard rims is not calibrated properly to meter.

You have more traction with road tires. More rubber to grip and propel the bike hence. Same effect when you change your mountain bike tire to slick tires.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

@Silent Hunter: Drop passport and got returned...drop helmet and got it back...lucky lor...the other night when i went riding to catch christmas light up...i dropped helmet...followed by my camera with lens...SIGH!!!

Oh man! What a big lost! :(

Any way to repair it?

Today went JB to pump petrol! :D

Drop my passport at the Shell station, luckily I go into the station and buy Twisties, so the Malaysian Chinese guy behind me picked up and pass to the pump attendent, then when he saw me, he told me I dropped my passport! Si Bei Heng! :cheeky:

And the guy looked like PinkPhantom's Madman! :D

Then later at Southern City dropped my helmet, aiya! Today rushing for time, really is too "Kan Chiong", everything also drop. On the way back, I took my time. Reached home safely! :cheer:

Also forget to add that this morning when setting off, I saw a TP slowly crawl pass me in the carpark when I was warming up my bike.

He seems to be looking out for certain vehicles.

Going really slow, signal light also forgot to off! :D

So I also slowly crawl out of my motorbike lot!

Then caught up with him at the exit of the carpark, saw that HIS Right Signal Light still on!!!! Muahhahahaha!!!

Then coming out of the carpark, he also didn't check back before moving off!

Kaaa!!! Kaaa!!!! Kaaa!!! Got check blind spot though!

At the traffic light, I saw him looking down on his tank, got one stack of papers with vehicle plate numbers. Handlebars got another notebook.

But the best part is.... Signal light still on!!!!

Again didn't check back, or else would have saw me giggling! :D

Actually wanted to tell him he forget to off signal light, but then thought better don't backside itchy! :D

Then after moving off for a while, he stopped an uncle driving a lorry on our left, don't know for what, but don't care, as long as don't disturb me can liao!

it happened during peak hour my friend. almost knocking off timing. cars were everywhere...

i want to be tp really, but my height and fitness does not allow me to... too much bad eggs otr, need to stop the rot...

wah! now that's fierce!

eh, i did stop at stop line at traffic junction off simpang bedok, just me and my bike alone at the junction. traffic quite clear but i still guai2 wait for traffic light to turn green. heehee. but when i was working with pizzahut, it's a different story uh heh. *guilty*

tsk! be careful. stompers are getting rampant nowadays. i once kena complained by a customer. for going too fast when they are jaywalking the road, almost knocking them down. and i was just going at about 60km/hr, need to brake and swerve away from them, they still dare to complain to the management about me. bloody hell.

i hope it's that way. cos i was going at 100km/hr and everyone seems to be faster than me. that's why i find it strange.

i shall give myself time until my insurance expires to master the kick, else, i will sell it before it ends.

update on this. after visiting the bike doctor, he changed the pin jet on the carburetor. screw here and there. adjust suspension. check this and that. and poof! magically, the bike is very much easier to start now. can even start without the decomp lever. my only complain is the side stand feels too long, cos now it's hard to stand and kick start without feeling as if the bike is gonna topple the other side. now, i love my bike! :D

:faint: ppl young la. ok to lose license arh, can always take again. :faint: ok to lose $, can earn again. :faint:

reminds me of this old uncle bragging abt how his license got gantonged when he was younger. -_____-"' I just keep quiet and laugh inside my heart - He seemed so proud, dun wanna burst his bubble. All this while servicing his old cub kia beside mine...

no, even if got flash i wont kenna cos i was behind the stopline. i already slowed down and came to a complete stop gradually, the taxi was behind me (same lane as me) as i came to a complete stop, he just change lane abruptly and beat red light...that junction no red light camera i think. i horned him as he sped away from the 'crime' scene.

:cheeky: ps, i was being sarcastic at TP.

Im imagining if the cabbie didn't swerve from ur lane, and rearend u, sending u flying forward as he crosses the stop line..

Now, if there is a red light camera and it flashed, I wonder if u'll get summon FIRST, before anything else happens.

Pure speculation.. Just a reflection of my view on them.

aiya, under the anonymity of internet, they also don't know who are you. no life then no life loh. not like we are going to lose a piece of meat just because they say so...

 ok ba. for the record, at least i tried, and still trying.

i think its just that your speedo wasn't recalibrated properly. when u use smaller circumference tyres, your speedo will show faster than what you are actually going at.

today while riding... rain came down on me!

heng was very near ah chong's place so went there to seek shelter. chong still ask me "what brings you here, i say raining mah, so come seek shelter lor." haha. saw a damn chui gsx 1000 at there. the chassis literally broke in half! :faint: near the radiator area. break area also break until nice nice... really dunno how the bike crash one, can crash until like that, confirm going to scrapyard liao, the backbone/chassis really up lorry... feel damn sad for the bike and the rider...

rain stop, wipe my bike dry, then rode off, then at this junction of ubi ave 2, light turn amber, so i slow down and came to a stop at the junction, got this faggot city cab driver knn bas**rd still chiong red light! it turned red for a good at least 2 secs and i was directly infront of him (i stop liao) so he bas**rd just cut into next lane and beat red light. i horned him and gave my trademark thumbs down hand gesture as he beat red light and sped away heng he never just zham accelerator and bam into me from behind... wa lau eh...

champion, so near tp hq still got guts to do this kind of sh*t... :faint:

u are lucky dat he siam u and beat the red light. i got banged from behind at a junction cos the bongtard wanna beat the red light with me already stopping in front, and got no place for him to siam cos all the cars by my side also stopped already.

flew into junction together with my bike as a result. knn

For me, I'll always try to stop at the lane splitting location where possible. In case of something like what you'd encountered, there is still a good percentage that the vehicle behind you can "siam" a direct hit on your rear. Maybe the other riders reading this post can apply this defensive riding tactic, because it'll be no joke if you're also carrying a pillion and got rear ended..

keep in first gear and stay alert at junctions to what is behind you. don't think you can avoid this even when you are in the middle of the lane.

Not only that.

NEVER EVER stop in the middle of the lane.

Stop on the lane markings/white lines itself.

That way, if a car can't stop in time, he'll skid/slide past you. Either way, you get missed completely or take a glancing blow... which is way better than being sodomized harder than Anwar did, and then being unceremoniously dumped in the middle of the junction.

will take note of this.

i think fundamentally still need to check mirror regularly.

What if like ahcai's case, he never siammed, and the cabbie siamed him.

But if ahcai went to the lane markings, wouldn't there be a higher chance of the cabbie siaming AND hitting him?

Cabbie: He was riding DANGEROUSLY and cut out at the last minute thus accident.

Judge/ Police: Ya, Rider OBVIOUSLY RIDING DANGEROUSLY, fine u! :faint:

Rider: Dun even have chance to open mouth..

Expressway jam mah. Nowaday expressway slower than normal road.

Reminds me of this scene from Futurama.

that was what i was thinking. but after today's experiment, my mileage meter is accurate though. 23km from home to school. is the mileage meter and speedometer linked together? cos if the mileage meter is accurate, perhaps the speedometer is accurate as well. but then again, what you've guys said make some sense. nvm. shall ask the mechanic about it when i change my engine oil.

today while riding...

it was a bad day of riding to me...

so many last min unexpected things happening to me in a few hours...

my mind was preoccupied on how to get to my destination and to make it on time and i wasn't fully concentrating while riding...

then along upp changi road, at one of the many short traffic light/pedestrian crossings, i totally didnt noticed the light was still red and continue to chiong ahead... thank God and heavens that the cyclist cycling across the road stop in time while i zoomed past... really a relief for me and for the cyclist... if she didnt stop i sure buang her cos confirm cannot stop in time then hell will break loose for me... so i was so relieved nothing disastrous resulted from this incident... this time, im the one being kayu... sigh...:sian:

one lesson i learned, is to be fully concentrated while riding. plan my time wisely so don need to rush and pre-plan my route well and know the roads well so don need to do last min dangerous filtering and turns. really have to be 100% sober and focused while riding. that is one valuable lesson i learned from this close shave incident...

again, sorry to the cyclist whether or not she will see this post, i really didnt mean to beat the red light... and thank God and you that u stopped while i zoomed past... phew...

Yesterday while dreaming (after my surgery)..... :dozed:

I was riding my Phantom up a very steep slope (offroad on grassy knoll) to take a shortcut. Somehow I managed to get to the top, but I found out that there a trench of some sort all around. So got to go back down.

Crap! The slope looks even steeper on the way down. Like 45 degree or steeper!

And it's not smooth either, it's full of potholes and botak patches of grass.

Anyway, for some unexplainable reason, B_E_N was there on the top of the knoll with me. And he told me that with my new exhaust and the Phantom's thumper engine, we should be able to jump the trench on the narrowest side. And when I turn around, Lo! And Behold! There was an underseat exhaust on my Phantom! Kaa! Kaa! Kaa! Kaa!

Then when I was about to jump the trench, B_E_N sat on the exhaust

(I wonder why his backside not hot  ) And told me when doing the jump, must open the mouth and breath out so that it protects the body in case of impact. "Like this. See?" I turn around to see, and "Si Ka Lee" accidentally twist the throttle abit, the bike really take off! Almost wheelie!!!!

I kena thrown back, and B_E_N leaned forward to counter the momentum so that he won't fall off. I lean back, he lean forward, mouth open, "Ahhhhh!" kena kiss! Mouth to mouth! Immediately both of us spit and spat like want to vomit like that!

Wah Lao!!! What a Nightmare! Must be because of the drug. @#$&%*^

Wake up cold sweat, then started laughing!
