today while riding...

 

spotted an potential driver driving w/o a valid licence...

 

the alleged driver was hogging the right most lane, i was behind and getting pissed by the hogger, lightly tapped my horn, then the hogger suddenly sped up, then i saw it turn on and off signal light when there is no right/left turns anywhere nearby, it was just a straight road... weird... then i change lane intending to overtake this bongtard, then i noticed it was straddling both lanes (driving on dotted white lines, left tires crossing over the dotted white lines) for quite sometime, even on straights.. i gave a long blast of my horn while i quickly overtook the bongtard, 1 quick glance... and it was a charbo... a bimbo lookalike, looks kinda pretty, at least 7.5/10. but the driving? super CMI...

 

 

either she cant drive for nuts (god knows how she passed...) or driving w/o a valid licence, after i horned, she panic, anyhow turn on and off signal lights...

 

they cant keep to their lane on bends/roundabouts, now they cant even keep to their own lane on straight roads?

while at a coffeshop near ba fang this afternoon...

 

almost witnessed an accident... this bongtard in a civic from trying to come out after parking at the roadside infront of the coffeeshop. never check blindspot then just turn out, luckily the van managed to brake in time as it wasnt going very fast...

today while riding home...

 

arm super cramp. west coast highway was jammed with trailers trucks and cars. traffic moving like a sloth. then approaching the intersection of clementi road n west coast highway, realized that the traffic lights not working. slowed down and hesitated to "go or not to go" then saw an officer signalling me to go. zzzz ...peak hour got road works ... bike already overheat when i stayed behind cars, coz too many trailers to squeeze in between. then lan lan follow behind this super 4 and squeeze through. piang several car's mirrors. heh, faster siam ! opps. got this nice uncle helped to inch his car abit forward coz i stucked behind his car and this van.

 

then along raffles ave, wanted to change lane to make a left turn. cars wont give way, then for nothing kena horn. then saw that the lady (in the front passenger seat) was cursing at me. WTH ? what i do ? your man's car so big u think u big **** meh? spoil my day only man !

 

guess i shall make a detour in my daily route. going to avoid west coast highway for the mean time....

@knucklehead: that is why i prefer to ride my tw200...upright posture i don't get tired at all...compared to my sportbike after 30mins already shoulder ache, back ache...teruk!

 

today i was riding from upper thomson area to holland area...traffic was ok...and the cars were mainly ok...except for an old aunty...driving behind me along upper thomson road just before thomson plaza...she driving quite close behind me and i was going at 65kph (limit is 60kph on that stretch)...then once bus lane is "dotted line" she filtered left...pulled ahead to my side...now i wanted to go into the post office...at which point now i can't filter left and gotta brake a little...then she also braked...and i was wondering why...then i realized she wanted to get to church and was probably a little late. sigh.

@knucklehead: cramp? not at all. it all depends on how the bike is setup. those people who like to ride with the aggressive looking elbows out style is just asking for aching shoulders. i setup my levers so that i am riding very comfortably both on and off road.

 

you know, i really love the mito...and everytime i ride it i love it more. unfortunately this body of mine cannot handle the aggressive posture

Today while riding to school, Really regretted not turning on my camera. Saw the Pink Hello Kitty Fino on KJE, the Hello Kitty head at the back is a box, not a back rest as previously assumed. The rider was a petite young lady, fair and very sweet looking.

 

Then while turning out to of KJE at the Jalan Bahar exit, got one SUV slowed down for me after I signalled. (I from far signal one lah) But she's the only one that slowed down. Checked blind spot, but very scared to change lane because very near, check blind spot 2nd time. Saw the driver an Ang Moh Lady driver singal to me, flicking her wrist and fingers to cut in. So nice!

 

Later on the way home, gave my classmate a lift, in a good mood, so when a SUV driven by a mother with kids in the back came along, I giude her through her parrellel parking.

Today while riding.....

See a fellow biker hogging the road along AYE moving at the centre of at outer most right lane. A blue color bike, don't wanna mension your plate number you know who you are.

It peak hour everybody is rushing for work, school and going home, and you hog until almost 200m in front of you with no car at all, this is not right. I can see you just pass, maybe you have no confident moving in peak hour but please don't do that, move to the second lane. Correct me if i'm wrong, you were moving about 60 to 70km/h, cause i'm lane splite my meter show me 85 when i move pass you and about to pickup speed.

Please be considerate for all the road user.

idiot driver in ntu made me see red! i stopped at a pedestrian crossing to let a girl cross and he just swerved left and overtook me, causing the girl to halt in her tracks.

hey, wait a few seconds will kill u isit? obviously i stop there got a reason right?

in the end i caught up with him also..damn red-plated b8stard..

harrassed him (well, tried to) en route to PIE and watched as he immediately accelerated to 120+ and tailgated the next vehicle in lane 1

in my red haze i chased him (when he stopped tailgating) until a mercs swerved into my lane without signalling and i realised my horn not working basket..

having a malfunctional horn makes me feel insecure

 

lessons learnt:

idk what brought on this temporary insanity but never again!

cbr does 120 so easily im surprised! on the flip side i bet a peh peh bike would hit 160 easily too haha!

1. That's why i remove my horn..... the wires connectors exposed to rain, sun and road grime after awhile it keep breaking.... i dulan one shot remove it and gave it away...... stock horn is enough for now.

 

2. This kind of thing dont chase.... follow.... when he reach car park then you do something....

 

3. CBR150 can hit 120 easily... but maintain 120 must see who is the rider already...

yday was making a right turn along west coast road. i saw the green arrow flickering before i reached the turning lane so i slowed down and stopped. apparently got one car behind me wanted to beat the flickering green arrow and was speeding damn fast. he had not enough time to stop or he will bang me and sent me flying. end up he swerved his car stopped abruptly one bike length away from me. i kept staring at him, end up he paiseh so he reversed and look at other directions to avoid my stare.

 

almost cant elebrate cny..

 

happened to me before.had 2 swallow my heart back in.hurhur

 

sian.. my rear suspension just kaput on me..

 

now the whole bike soft soft, feels so weird riding it..

today noonish while on the way to bukit merah to service bike, was riding peacefully near the macdonalds at tea garden or something. 5 lane area, where 2 lanes split left and 3 lanes go down the underpass. was on the 2nd lane minding my own business and already going legal + 10 behind a pickup. suddenly, this honda fit which i'd been eyeing in my mirror behind and approaching. swept past me in my lane on my left, went across 2 lanes to exit. bloody idiot had to accelerate before changing out.

 

he went past close enough that i could feel the wind flip my jeans legs. he was easily going close to 90 i figure. and traffic to the left was CLEAR, not a single other car on the left to make him have to overtake and cut left to exit. had a feeling he was trying to play punk with me on purpose.

 

almost wanted to snap on the throttle and pop a fast steer in his direction to confront the bugger ( he had to stop behind cars at the traffic light ), but decided that that stretch alota tp speed cams, silently curse him to crash into a tree n burn, and went on my way. it was a metallic-pinkish-copperish coloured fit. rather distinct, the fella better not let me see him around. bloody f1 toaster.

 

then on the way back after sch, was on KJE, on the way towards BKE exit, 4 lane, was in lane 2, getting ready to lane change. check mirrors, signal left and suddenly another missle went past on the right, swept right to left in front of me, within spitting distance. this time a bike, same lane, i was already going legal +10 again, and this fella was prolly +20/30 of my speed. FBD, wearing a brownish leather jacket, didn't see make of bike, because it went past THAT fast.

 

fella cut across 3 lanes at the same speed, then swooped into the breakdown lane to ride past everyone onto the exit ramp. left lane was clear when i checked, so the fella was prolly in lane 1, went 1-4.

 

first time in a long time that i've felt like stabbing more than 1 person in the eye with a rusty fork in a day. why, oh why did i quit smoking.

Today while riding at the cte/pie interchange, as usual jam. While lane splitting, the cub infront of me almost "kiap" by 2 big lorries....luckily he speed up in time to prevent becoming a sandwich...scary.

today while i was on holland road waiting for the lights to change at the holland village traffic lights (i was heading towards holland drive), i was moving cautiously up front and chanced upon this Toyota Fortuner driven by an Indian lady. She had her P-plates on and...was talking happily on the phone. so i stopped my bike right in front of her, turned around and looked directly at her, and told her with my hand signals that she cannot talk on the phone. good thing is she stopped using it...i moved off soon after.

 

i've decided that i will keep doing this and hopefully it will catch on. so far people have been responsive.
