Today while riding to expo. Gt 1 ****ing indian man n his family inside a toyota car. Suddenly cut into my lane without warning. Then still dare to giv me e look i owe him e way. Wtf. U drive a car doesnt meAn u big f*** k. Lucky i wAs rushin to meet my gf or i would hav stop n beat him. F****** indians...

@sharing. saw a bike convoy for wedding on e road. Didnt c them when they at carpark but at least i think their behavior on e road is ok.

 

 

 

Also 1 of e night when out riding with fren i was last bike in a group of around 5 bikes. On SLE heading toward BKE nearing e exit, saw a Mitsubishi lancer on e left lane. We bikes were on middle lane.

 

E lancer abit like shift here and there so i on alert and keep a safe dist. Then e lancer became bad to worse. Initially, "drift" roughly 1 quarter car into my lane. Then later "drift" half car into my lane.

 

Finally e car took e same exit as us going towards Sembawang. No signal and car was half in e lane going BKE and half in e lane going Sembawang. Only when near e central dividerthen he whole car enter e lane going toward Sembawang.

 

usually i will already try and honk and warn these lousy drivers but as was in a group so dun frighten e other riders.

 

But worse yet to come. Those who ve travel this road SLE exit toward Sembawang should noe tat it is a wide 3 lane S course. So e bikes stayed in middle lane. E lancer took lane 1 and once into e S course pick up spd. Hen nearing e 1st bike, e lancer cross lane marking again close to quarter car width into middle lane just behind 2nd bike and back again.

 

Most of e group didnt notice but i was already on alert since SLE so i saw it clearly.

 

By then we already out of e S course. Reacted, wrist twisting action and went to e front of e lancer but i was still in lane 2. Look around to make sure safe and did my usual pattern of "drawing" e lane marking between lane 1 and 2. Basically my intention is to warn him tat he is crossing e lane marking. Did it twice to make sure he saw it clearly.

 

Then hazard light and move to left line fr group to pass. Surprise surprise, e lancer SIGNAL and came to middle lane and for a moment was in line with me and wat i saw is a "wat u wan?" look. Then lancer took off.

 

So sadly there r lousy drivers on e road who really dunno their driving is lousy. Maybe e lancer wanted to "play" which was wat e group thought but ve to play same ma. E situation during e "S course" was such tat e 2nd bike was on e right side of lane 2 (stagger formation) and e lancer cross e lane marking behind 2nd bike. So if front bikes did any braking there would be trouble.

Its ego. The driver want to show off he can drift here and there without giving a damn about others safety. Thinks by driving that way he very skillful. These are the type of drivers we need to get off the public roads.

Should just keep a plastic bag of cigarette butts hooked onto the handlebars when you get people flicking their cigarette butts towards you, just speed up, and throw the whole bag of cigarette butts at his open window.

Sharing my test video for keychain video camera mounted at e side of helmet. Converting in progress

 

some issues

- most of e time e number plate not very clear. Only when i am right behind e vehicle then can c clearly even 1 car lane away. Not entirely suitable for me to act "TP"

 

- currently mounted vertical. Need to change to horizontal becoz vertical e angle is small

 

- difficulty in operation. E led light on e keychain cam is not very visible in e day when i handle it while it is mounted on my helmet and looking into e mirror. Ve to start e recording before mounting. This increase e risk of accidentally stopping e recording. :/

EDIT: Whoops didn't see "keychain cam"... if its cheap then the quality not bad la... if you want better.. must use those higher end costlier ones.

My micro sd card 8gb more ex than e camera. i adjusted e mounting to become horizontal to improve e angle. Think tat will mark e end of this project.

tdy while riding home from work, encountered a total of 4 incidents..

 

1st incident on PIE towards tuas at Toa Payoh exit. i was travelling on lane 3 behind a car with half car length distance and there wasnt any vehicle behind me. a taxi came from lane 2 and tried to cut in between me and the car because he wanted to exit at Toa Payoh. taxi driver already saw me riding beside but die die also wanna squeeze in so i gave a long blast of horn and in the end he lane change behind me instead.

 

2nd incident on PIE towards tuas aft Adam road exit. i was travelling on lane 1 behind a car and a spark with behind me near the dotted lines. i tot the spark wanna lane split so i move towards the right of the lane but end up the spark nvr lane split and keep staying behind me so i move back to the middle of the lane. saw from my mirror that a bike with high beam turned on coming quite fast so i move to right of the lane again to allow space for the rider to lane split but the bike die die also wanna cut from my right and end up lane splitting. gave way and realised that it's a Msia rider who probably doesnt treasure his life.

 

3rd incident on PIE towards tuas just before the entrance of the BKE bend. taxi decided to lane change from lane 5 w/o signal. 1/4 of the car was already in my lane so i decided to flash high beam to warn the taxi driver hoping that he will move back to his lane. upon seeing my high beam aft 2-3 secs, taxi driver decided to signal when 1/2 of his car already in my lane, signal only flash twice.

 

4th incident was 1 traffic junction away from my hse carpark. was on lane 3 waiting for traffic light to turn green, a honda stream was behind me and there wasnt any vehicle on lane 2. traffic light turn green, i accelerate as per normal and the honda stream kept tailgating but die die also dun wanna lane change to lane 2. i signal abt 2 lamposts b4 the carpark entrance, honda stream wanna go straight but still die die dun wanna lane change and kept tailgating. when i was abt to turn into the carpark den the honda stream FINALLY lane change and proceeded straight for the next carpark entrance.
