i onli know this company woodlands transport , all the drivers very fast and furious wan

 

say about fast and furious.. I once encounter, I was riding at 90km/h (digitally) on the 2nd lane and a van over take me on 1st lane.. stun..

 

& every morning, nicole highway all cars are fast and furious drivers.. *shake head*

i remember that case.

the rider died.

the law says the driver did no wrong even though he drove onto road shoulder to bang the bike and rider.

154th also report big big say rider in the wrong to take shelter in non authorised place under the flyover

Today while riding. Think it's about 9pm+

Was at the junction near Yishun stadium, turning towards mandai that side. stopped behind a R15 I think. Noticed his side stand is down.

Thought he'll lift up when going. Who knows green arrow appear. He just ride off.

 

He accelerate to about 70 I think. I want to catch up but scared he fall down in front of me. So i just follow till there's no car on my left and ride beside him.

I point&point&point&point at the side stand but he just look at me. >.

and there are tell-tale signs of rain.. strong cooling winds, dark clouds..

 

rain just doesn't appear out of no where..

 

advance planning is always good when riding bike, as we are not covered unlike cars..

Sometimes you are really just that Unlucky to get hit by sudden downpour with no rain gears with you. Or might be thinking you are able to make it to your destination just before the rain starts. Despite how careful my planning is. Bound to have few times I turned into drench chicken. Although I've accepted the fact of riding a bike.

I cannot brake in time so I go in between the cars . x.x

 

Sounds dangerous to me. I've experienced before too. Before I know it. The butt of the car is right in front of my face. Braked hard and wobble Abit. Legs down and cut abruptly onto the broken white line as the moment was too fast. Didn't have time to check blind spot. Luckily traffic was slow. From then on I learnt never stick to the front vehicle too close even though traffic is slow.

so far, i will only attempt to ride without stopping to change into rain gear when i'm near home. cause i know i get to go for a hot shower soon.

Hate it when need to dry glove and jacket +clean bike as I don't like it when my bike surface have all those dried water droplets marks. Pardon my weirdness.

Buy 2 set of rain gear. Use 1 time hang them up, swap set. This way no need worry smell or not dry becoz ur gear hopefully gets more than 24hr rest.

 

For water droplet stains. Use tank bra. No worry stain. pillon seat surface area smaller thus not so obvious. Or buy those micro fiber cloth and wipe bike when dry, no too hard to remove e water stains.

From last night. Taxi drive like in a race of some sort and then decide to tailgate the rider in front and later on cut another rider dangerously close from lane 1 to lane 3.

 

 

From last night too. Driver suddenly decide to turn left so hard braking and just turn. Thankfully I was anticipating this.

 

 

From this morning. Obviously I am very invisible but security camera can detect me or maybe the driver suffering from 'blindness of riders' syndrome?

 

 

Once again forgive me if these are boring and wasting your time. If it is why bother watching? Its your choice.

Since my last post 2 weeks ago, seems everyone has their fair share of insects, lizards and spiders. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

 

Anyway, this is another true story from last week, no animals involved.

 

I finished work and got onto the main road. I saw a cruiser bike that rode past, so I followed him to the traffic light junction and waiting for the lights to turn green.

 

The rider was a dark skin guy (possibly Torres Straits Islander) riding a new Triumph America. He's quite atas. Won't smile or wave to say hi. I thought maybe he's atas because his bike is newer than mine by at least 10 years, so I let him be.

 

We were watching the lights on the adjacent junction and we knew that when the traffic lights turn red, the traffic lights on our side will be green.

 

Even before the traffic lights turn green, he open throttle and shoot to the ....

 

 

 

 

 

 

..... middle of the cross junction and jam brake. When he stopped, the traffic lights turn green and we both open throttles and roared down the road, leaving the cars behind smelling our smoke.

 

I was laughing after moving off, especially when the Triumph rider was probably embarrassed for stopping in the middle of the cross junction before the lights turn green.

Yeah. Let me share something surprising. A friend hsometime back had a similar looking horn on his bike and was stopped by LTA. The officer wanted to fine him for having a similar looking horn.
