Today while riding, got a P-plater in a white car come out of the KTPH did an ultra wide turning and cut into both lanes outside the SAFRA there, while another car (on my left and 2 more car lenghts behind) and I (on the right lane) were approaching and earned from me the horn of the month.

 

The fellow then zip back into the left lane. Pretend nothing happened.....

I recall watching the movie 3 times at the cinema when I was a teenager.

 

3 times?! Haha wow that's a lot of times.

 

Btw I don't recall the cinema having this movie when I was a teenager....

@gohjohan i think A "Ferrari taxi" accident is waiting to happen. Only difference is a bike instead of

Car and being the main character.

 

That's the amazing part. No more oncoming traffic from the adjacent junction and that time of 5.30pm, it's supposed to be peak hour, when people are going home from work. Yeah, he probably be another victim of a Ferrari accident if a fast car would have tried to beat the red light. The cars in Australia can be fast, especially with the number of 3.0litre V6s and 4.0litre V8s around. Even with my Royal Star, going uphill, those muscle cars can match my acceleration. Other normal cars can't.

 

many ppl try to anticipate the lights. Well u shd only do this at junctions you're familiar with.

 

Yeah, I travel that route 5 days a week, so I know it very well. After this incident, I only go when the lights really change green

Up till today that is still the most number of times I went to a cinema to watch the same movie. I am a fan of Jim Carrey. First got to know about him from the show 'In living colour' and find him very talented. I guess you were younger then.

For me whenever there movies with him acting in it. I will catch it. Most of his movies never fails to make me lol. Havt been hearing his news for quite sometime. Maybe retired from funny movies silently ?

Riding straight at right side of a 2 lane road...taxi was stationery at left but decided to go to right side...left side long queue of cars....never signal or wad...almost kiss his ass..I jam brake and slide forward to the tank...****ing hurt my little birdy..after he pass I ls and stop beside him give him a wtf handsign....he still got the cheek to gimmi the yaya face....dun wanna apologies...#^%%^#! very pissed Liao I give him a middle finger and swear him some hokkien vulgarities b4 moving off

Was goin raya, ridin, was following this cab where all my friends were in, cab went to right lane to make a turn, I noticed a red plate WRX, with just a modded endcan coming fast from behind on the lane I wanna enter. I gave way to him, he stopped on the lane before the extreme right lane where you go into if u might want to U turn.

 

I was about to enter that lane when he edged out, mofo didn't check his blind spot, my horn was broken so I gave him an earful of my pipe, brother wasn't happy, he went behind me and start revving, moving off, I rode damn slow, forcing the mofo to run out of patience and overtake me, mofo was probably tailgating me too. I was waiting for the taxi with my frens too anyway

Beware of taxis...

 

They can change lanes or make a turn without a warning.

 

The worst accident I had in my 35 years of riding was with a taxi making a turn when I had the right of way.

 

I had the right of way, but I spent 4 days in the hospital with a deep scar on my right thigh.

 

Having the right of way don't mean **** here in Singapore.

 

Please ride defensively.

Right of the way for us bikers is oso right of the way for 4 wheelers. They think smaller size vehicles should always give way no matter right of way or not. Plus they think since they have a metal cage protecting them even they get into accidents with bikers. The most we just claim their insurance. They won't even need to fork out a single cent. ESP taxi drivers. Since they can just send to their company workshop.

For riders. If we insist on right of way. We'll be awarded the right to suffer too... Not worth insisting on it when we are at an obvious disadvantage.

people will think that when they have right of way which is IMHO, very lopsided.

The truth is there is never right of way for bikes but there is for other bigger vehicles. Drivers will always play the 'chicken out' games with riders. They expect us to chicken out even if we are going straight and they are making a turn. They know we are only protected by a helmet hence why they have this mentality. Also after a driver hits us and its their mistake they will look at the damage and will usually just hand out a few dollars to repair our damaged ride. They still have the thinking bike parts are cheap. Overheard a conversation between an uncle on a bike and a driver after the driver almost collided into him.

 

Uncle: You bang me I die. I bang you also I die.

 

Sadly its the truth. Which is why drivers rarely give a hoot about us riders knowing that we are always at the losing end.

 

Guess I need to get a bigger capacity memory card already. Did not get to capture an incident whereby this car travelling on the most left lane which will lead to a left turn suddenly decides to brake and swerve right into the centre lane going straight almost making another car crash into it and the car behind this car also amost crahshed into it too. Thankfully I was alert enough to safely slowdown and horn. Thanks to the sudden swerve by the driver it created a mini jam for a while.

i admit while driving at tampines block 201 junction , i was going straight , some where near the one and a half arrow , i see bikes start doing their right turns. and me having to break because got one bike move so slowly while turning right.

From this morning. Got cut twice by two taxi thankfully traffic was slow and followed by @danielling1981's favourite walkers.

Today while riding to work. Was stuck in bike lane jam during pie rush hour. Was beside a lorry and ya know those latches attached to chains that lorries use to lock their tailgate? This one had a bloody big hook on it that was not secured. Quickly grabbed it and threw it inside the loading area.

 

On the way back from work. Saw a big fat ang mo riding Harley whacking a Toyota corolla. Hate to say this. But I think it's the riders fault from how the bike was positioned dead behind the car in the aftermath. But oh well. What have I to confirm since I wasn't there.

Yesterday, on the way out of Planet, after the first right turn, an oncoming taxi saw me coming, but did an ILLEGAL U-turn on the main road and blocked both lanes in front of me and caused me to have to E-brake!

 

I E-braked, controlled the rear wheel and stopped 1 wheel diameter away from the taxi and horned him the " Referee Kayu 11 horn" as I went around him before going to Kaki Bukit Road 2.

 

On the way home, one of my mirrors that was already cracked dropped when I was adjusting it. Sian!

 

On the way back to Planet to get my other bike, a white van cut across the bus I was in and caused him to E-brake, jerking everyone of us forwards. @#$%$%^!!! Roads are getting more and more dangerous everyday! Damn!

1st day using my cam and this happened just 2 traffic lights away from my hse.

the kr came from behind aft traffic light turn green and turn into my lane forcing me to almost go into the next lane. luckily there were no cars on my left.
