it's abit messy to paint first and second coat but dont worry, third one will be the best.

 

but it's really hard to maintain... especially from direct sun light.

 

my rear wheels are so cotton-white yet front right side (that handle usually turns left to lock) exposed to sun and getting yellowish..

 

i used tyre cleaners and rubbed off for about a week (almost 1 coat gone i think) then retains whiteness..

 

so white-wall-tyres are just like white shirts.. if u can keep it in closet, under shade is the best..

if the white paint on the tire is dirty, need to use what to clean away?

will it have a hazard to clean those road dirt away from the white wall?

sgstarrider recommended "blackmagic" tyre cleaner to me, which can get from shell petrol kiost.

it'll wash away most dart and oils (chain lube) easily.

but in order to maintain whiteness, u need to rub off the dirts by hand (use sponge or something)

but gotto reframe it from direct sunlite as the sunlite will turn the white wall yellowish.

Do remember to use the Black Magic Tire Cleaner spray n use a sponge (like the one use for washing plates) to rub it clean. Use the SOFT side. NOT the ROUGH side.

I just got my Dragstar not too long ago, and just changed a new set of Dunlop tyres( If I knew it early, could hv gotten the tyres come with white side wall), I am interested in your paint, but am afraid after buying end up no time to DIY and it will be wasted, can you offer me the paint together with DIY, and I will pay for it.

haahah...that means u must either leave the tyres with him for 4 days....or leave the entire bike with him for 4 days
