you tried K&N b4? how is it? how much is the cleaning kit and how long clean one time?

cos i notice the normal air filter we using get dirty easily after like three to 4 month of riding..

but K&N recommend cleaning every 50000 mile... that is 80000KM ..

how come ?

Ah_pui: Yep, tried before. Cool, can actually hear a louding roar from ur engine. E sound of faster air flow. =P I experienced better throttle response, though fuel consumption may go up a little. As for e cleaning, I guess approximately ard 20,000km or so will b gd. (",)

most prob is the bulb blown as headlight there are 2 filaments 1 for high beam the other for low. in any case either buy a bulb to change yourself or if not sure got down to a mechanic and they will charge you $2 (i think) including labour charges. :thumb:

Well you need lubrication for your bike to run smooth. Right. Well polishing of the bike removes the stains and make it feel and look new again. Works like spa also .

try going for serving.. check your carb, maybe due to tuning and long time didn;t wash or maybe your air filter dirty...

as what you mentiion your pillon also.. this might be the fact..

as what i SMS you.. go for DR Koon he might help you..

last time my bike out of sudden only can travel 80km/h after his servicing... 100km/h no prob.. very easy to achieve...

just be my air filter dirty and have my carb wash... full servicing..

as what some other also recommend ... once a month pump V power... i all the time with caltex.. so all their type of petrol got the techron that can clean the engine... :cheer: :cheer:

i also encounter dis prob b4. no dim light, only hi beam. esp after heavy rain.

but my headlight will come on after riding for a while (battery charged), it's the battery problem.

after i changed battery, no more problem.

1 thing i think is important, u must place your rubber battery cover properly (full strech to cover whole battery), otherwise rain water may rainse on connections to coz prob.

but if your head light aways off, even riding a while, den probably the bulb is spoilt.

Hi, does anyone riding a new version of phantom(the one with the fuel indicator) encounter this problem?

There's this metal rubbing sound coming from the suspension and the front wheel..

The sound from the suspension is most obvious aft rain.. It's like u locked the front wheel and u push down the front fork, there's this metal rubbing sound.. So the sound will be continous coz the front fork is moving up and down while riding.. Anyone has any idea what might be the problem?

For my front wheel, there's this "eee" sound at a certain point when the front wheel rotates.. I checked the brake pads, but it seems ok to me.. So wat maybe the reason for the sound.. I've had the bike checked by my mech and he says it's safe to ride.. But i would like to solve this problem coz sometimes I'm quite irritated by the sound..

I welcome any advices or suggestions.. Pls help.. Thanks alot..

i'm riding the new ta200.

here's my case, there may be some dirt/sand/rust in ur front suspension, since the suspension is covered by the upper part for the new model. my solutin is to use WD40 to spray into the gap to wash it.

hope tis can help u.

as for the front wheel sound, i do have similar prob after i changed my break pads, but it sounds like "sssssss". and i also not sure wat coz it. anyway, so far no problem, and it's not very obvious, so i just ignore it.
