the 3 pipes are beside the side-stand. one transparent one, 2 black ones. BTW, my bike is a TA200. The EO is dripping from one of the black pipe. Have been a few days liao. It's the first time I encountered tis. I changed the EO a few times but never tis happened before. I even ensure tat I oni pour in 1.2L of the EO. No more then tat. I'm worry tat the dripping wouldn't stop until my EO finished.

Posted

then make sure u check the EO level every day before you ride lor, see if it's decreasing and top up if really leak till low... if confirm its EO leaking, then better chop chop bring to ur mech to take a look... ride safe!

check your eo level when engine is cold....if you diy the eo change while engine is hot(some eo is still sticking all over the engine some say as much as .5L) and add 1.2L....it may be too much...so let engine cool down when checking level or change EO.

mine eo change at planet is 1L bottle....i added about 300 ml to it and notice oil patches underneath my bike ..now ok no more already.

Heheh was 'backpaging', noticed some stuff not answered yet...

not everyone has a sissy bar dude ;) and not all comprehends whats it.

I think he was referring to the pillion backrest.

I using some repsol chain lube spray can thingy... $6 got it from koon... is it any good? lub abt once every 1-2 weeks or after riding in the rain.

Yeah its good for lubing, but it flings very very easily.

If youre not particular about the cleanliness or appearance of the bike's rims then go ahead.

I have the best signature.

some administrative charges..as you are changing bike ..wont be a big hit..

when you do change bike bring along the existing certificate/cover..they need it to cancel insurance or else you have to sign a declaration that you have lost/misplaced it..

any diff will depend on the value/size of the bike..

wanna check.....

if i;m away for about 6 week overseas.. advice given is to remove battery connection so that it won;t drain off and about to start the bike just connect it back right?

but even with battery connected ... how does the battery still able to drain off even ignition is off?

cos i was thinking and thinking.. rechargable battery will drain off automatically if long period not charge... so if long term didn;t ride.. connect or disconnect still the same right?

Posted

better to disconnect....

1. short circuit may happen....you may have other devices that use the battery

when the ignition is off...eg..radio...cdplayer , alarm ..etc they use energy.

2. security....your bike will be safer...thieves may have a hard time starting your bike.

??? the main concern is whether will it still start no matter is it connected or disconnect after a long period

hi,

does your bike come with tool kits??

open your right cover right below the seat (you have to unscrew it).

you will find a tool bag inside with lotsa tools in it if yours is still there by default. (mine is still there)

if not then do carry some common tools like screwdriver, allen key, wrench for changing spark plug and a spare spark plug.
