ah chong still provide towing service at midnight???

he doesn't provide those services, its a third party doing it and ah chong charges you what the guy charges(or more).. :cheeky:

just checking , as i am a newbie ,

just wondering if its legal for me to install blue and red fog light on my bike ?

illegal, don't try that anymore. If you want to, don't wire them . Year end bonus is a good time for them to earn $$ for you to contribute to the nation's funds. Someone went on stomp for those on phantom a while back :giddy:

its not legal but prepare 2 socks in your box just in case TP or LTA comes by so you can cover it...

i once put blue spotlights on my crashbar before but the circuit got damaged cos of heavy heavy rain..removed it to prevent further issues..

Cover it always, but if its for aesthetic purpose and you cover them up then defeats the purpose :cheeky:

wow the JIJI noise no more after i lubed the chain... thks god...

And there you have it :thumb:

Hi, few questions.

Planning to diy on servicing. particularly eo. and cleaning of airfilter and in the future, spark plug (dont worry will empty eo in drums at bikeshops). anything else that i could do? eg. crankcrase breather need to empty? brakes need to clean or anything to be more effective? just change new front brake pads... significant difference!

also, is tuning the engine a must? what actually is being done when tuning? ah chong did it with a few throttles and meddling with the carburetor settings with his ear.. sufficient?

i also lube the chain weekly very often

thanks

Clean your calipers of brake dust, naturally it'll be much effective w/out hindrance. You can feel the significant diff when you change your brake pads now, because you're comparing it to the last stage of your ex pads with the 1st stage of the new ones

He might be able to tune by ear because countless of bikes, engines goes to his hands(and ear) daily. If you want to do that, then practice or ask him for advise

Lube wherever you can. A clean bike is a good bike :thumb:

what is the draning bolt for eo size? want to find a wrench to open it. thanks

17....is the normal size..

but get 16 to 22...it varies with vehicle.. imho (never use adjustable spanner for this job...a octacgonal close end spanner is the correct tool to use)

just follow the car manual schedule of maintenace your bike will be in great condition...anything more will be a waste of money..

in time you will have to priortise what u need. (if $$ is tight).as the schedule going to cost u some moolah..

just search the internet and u have all the answers u need...good luck and enjoy your new found hobby..

the tool bag that comes along with your phantom also has the tool to remove the EO drain cap.

2 stroker needs 2T and 4T but uses 2T much more than 4T, 4 stroker uses 4T only. Hope its simple enough for you to comprehend, exceptions not inputed here.

Hi everyone, can i know if phantom can put HID?

is the voltage enough?must change battery?

thanks

Possible, might need to change some things like the headlight cover itself and some stuffs. Check out with your friendly bike shop. Do note its illegal :thumb:

Should be, I've it installed in one vehicle. Its deemed legal by Autobacs I reckon? Check out Autobacs for some Legal horns too :thumb:
