You have any pictures of yours? Should be able to pass as long as its bright enough and visible to your eye IMO. Don't get those fancy looking ones for a phantom. Just practical working ones

change my rear brake pump at planet few weeks back, now my rear brake not working again.

 

anyone got do things at planet by dr chong , but after 1 month not working. how ? i say is he change one. what if he deny?

 

heard alot compliments about dr chong, duno about complains.

All my stuff are done at Planet. Phantom or S4, all done there. So far so good *Fingers Crossed*

 

Ok, i suggest you go back and let him know of your problems. But if you go there and hope that he will change a new one for you... i dun think so. He might repair, he might sell you a new one at a better price. Because to put it bluntly, you have used it for one month and no one knows if you have abused it. So negotiate with him and bargain abit.

 

Last of all, i personally take brakes very seriously. If i had to get anything done, it will be one of the first cos tyres etc also important.

 

So, care to tell us which mech did for you? Angmoh or China man?

yea, i dun expect a free job, but maybe half price.

the china man couldn't fix it. Dr chong did it himself!

Yo... i asked Chong bout ur bike... he said he told you your rear brake spoilt but he has got no stock.... and the 85 bucks u spent, it was for your front spockets or something.... hmm...

If the bike was fix at one place and than the other and the others place, after passing so many hand.... how can you be sure... who is to responsible for it.

hmmm... no leh. i remember it clearly it's the rear brake pump, he even take out and show me. sprocket? nah, didn't touch my sprocket at all...

and since i'm going to pay my bike installment at new union, i ask them help me check. since i riding everyday. if i rush down planet den to pay installment or vice versa, 1 shop might be close liao. Brakes these type of things cannot delay for long

 

yup. New union seems good but the $2 charge for the rear brake oil seems expensive.

ok lah...if u buy whole bottle maybe u pay more ...and further more brake oil cannot keep long type..but on the other hand if your brake system keep loosing oil may be its is better to buy a small bottle ...

 

yeah if u do that maybe can buy 1 big bottle all can share cost and get top up as often as we like..

in singapore where temperature diff is insignificant...all ok..(except dont buy anything below SAE 30 ) IMHO

but if u ride long and/or hard better to use higher weightage.eg.sae 50..

i personnally prefer 15w -50....

 

the question of costs will come in mineral or semi or full synthectic only:cheeky:
