sure thing guys. I'll monitor its progress first. Hmmm, I wonder if its possible to remove our stock horns and replace it with the hella twins... At least that way, it'll be more protected from water infection.

Wait a minute. Pls count me out of this one. I might be able to get cheaper 1 for the same thing. If u guys can wait, pls dont put ur name first. Maybe can save +/- 10bucks.

Btw, the installation u r talking about is the same way I hve in my mind. But I also not sure whether it can be done this way, coz this hella is twin (again?). Haha..

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

The back will always be higher than the front for road riding.

But on the track... its the other way around.

Really?

I didn't know that. I was under the impression that on track the front pressure will still be lower than the back due to the fact that the front leads the corner.

I'm sorry for the noob questions, but would you mind explaining, why this is so?

Sincerely,

Norisha R.

Hi guys. Need an advise from the riders here. Try to search for some info but I'm not able to get it.

What is the charging voltage from a healthy rectifier for CBR150? And the voltage of a rectifier that indicates that the recitifier needs to be replace. Thanks.

Just rmbr 1 thing, do it right the first time & use a better material, it will never give u any headache. Quoted from Don. :thumb:

wah..i said that meh??

hahaha

having DIY installed snail horns for my past 3bikes, i would recommend that guys who are going fix snail horns w/ relay to take note of below:

- use better quality wires. (these horns require quite a bit of electric current to work. less resistance = more current pass thru)

- reduce the length of wires to be used. if possible, give preference to shorter wiring length between battery +ve to relay & from relay to horn. this may mean having to extend the original horn +ve & -ve wires to relay, so that relay can be positioned nearer to the battery & snail horns. (same logic as above. reduce resistance)

- face the snail horns more downwards than frontwards so that water does not get into the horns when riding on wet roads. water is a killer for these horns. (refer to areal for real time experience)

- utilise the horns regularly. do not attempt to scrimp and save on their usage since u spent so much on them. regularly-used horns fail less often.

:goodluck:

Rpm meter fixed By itself! After I full throttle the rpm just went back to normal. =s

My volt meter is giving a constant reading of 14.1 & sometimes 14.2 volt :)

Yesterday my RS stalled in the middle of traffic, couldn't start again. Ended up pushing from near Bedok Reservoir road to First Motors at Ubi. 45 min of exercise.

Thinking of selling. Can't stand the noise from a 2 stroke engine anymore... CBR 150 next? Who knows...

Yup... the CBR 150R is a good choice...

I can't stand myself the noise, smoke and smell of a 2 stroker, given up a long time ago.

Good luck on your next choice of bike...
