Talking about modding. I advice to all our new members, please dont mod ur bike, except those accesories thingy like stickers, voltmeter, horn, etc. The more u mod, the more problem u will face. Trust me, I had experienced it.

CBR150 is CBR150. If u want to mod CBR150 become CBR200, better go get KRR.

TTs not true........ if you do it properly there should be no problem. .....

Correct. If u r somekind of mechanic or u got so much money to pay mechanic to do it for u, then ok. Yet, many of us r just an average rider & we choose this bike for the low maintainance & good FC, which is savings, not the speed thus no mods (spend money) pls. Also u will get higher re-sale price, right? Coz most ppl would like to get a stock bike when they look for 2nd bike.

Norisha . , wad about me .. ? :( kinda new here so.. all frm east , none west i guess? so left out grrr.... ey beb, anione here experience ur chain ever get yellowish?? i dunt know wad to do abt it! stress!!

Yellowish chain? That just sounds like residue from the oil that you are using. Are you using maxima chain lube? Generally yellowish chain is not a big concern unless the colour comes from rust... in which case go change chain quickly. If it is yellow, and greasy, then it is fine. You can try to clean your chain and see if the color comes off. For real effect clean with diesel/petrol.

Anyways, I use O-Ring chain so it is already slightly yellowish. :dozed:

Does O-Rings chain hve to be yellowish? I dont think so. Do u know that our stock chain also O-Rings chain? Somemore its DID, not some brandless chain.

If yellowish = rusty like, lube more often. If by lubing wont help, better change the chain. Dont wait till she snap ur back.

Hmm, well my chains are yellowish right out of the box....

I have already mentioned about the rusty chains... but you need to first ascertain if the yellow come from the rust, or from the oil or is "naturally" like that one...

Oh. I guess what u refer as yellowish chain is what we call as gold color chain, right? Its slightly more expensive than the normal black color chain.

Thats why i use 'If'.

Go to bigger mama shop or DIY shops like homefix, buy a bottle of kerosene.

After that, go to bike shops ask for Maxima Chain Wax (the brown colour 1).

Then wash ur chain using kerosene & used toothbrush & lube ur washed, cleaned, & dry chain by this Maxima. If cant find @ bike shops, go Mustafa.
