wa DID o ring so good.... will change to that next... i using cheapo chanpalang no ring $50 chain and sprocket..... also use EO to lube every week... clock about 10,000 K. Every month need to adjust... and it still look new! Oh yes and its noisy like @#$^$ already...

hahaha

u gave me confidence lah bro

i c e way u describe yr chain..i tink mine can last another 30K click :p

On a separate note, anyone experience bike dying suddenly without any warning and/or difficult to start/restart?

I'm trying to troubleshoot this problem with my bike.... think carburettor going to up lorry already or blocked..

tink this kind of problem hard to pin point. could be anything that feeds air, fuel and electricity to the plug cable. only option is to do tikam & slowly get items replaced 1 by 1.

:giddy:

i used too in the past, but the EO attract too much dirts like sands which made me give up on lubing my chain using EO.

no 2 is a no no for me.

1 & 3 might be possible.

they attract dirt and fling off w/ the dirt easily also mah~

i end up w/ ultra dirty chain guard + swingarm + front sprocket cover

hey guys, dunno if anyone of u can help me with this:

how do we restore an oxidised patch on a bike/car? The colour is fine, its the clear coat layer that has become a glazed sheen. how did it get there? well, i think it was from a sponge with some form of cleaning agent on it. i didnt know it had the cleaning agent, so i used it as an applicator to wax my bike. after buffing it off, i saw the area on the petrol tank has been oxidised.

it seemed like a glazed layer over it, pretty much like that of frosted glass. and can see the swirl marks on this "cloudy layer" which were made while applying the wax. yes it does seem like a matte bike, with its glazed/cloudy/hazy sheen.

as for the feel of it, it feels a bit rough, not as in sandpaper texture, but its definitely not the ultra smooth surface of a waxed area, more of the texture of say, a table top. it doesnt feel like plastic nor metal.

ok, i hope i have provided enough info for this. as far as i know, a "stripped" or damaged layer of clear coat is pretty much irreversible. there are products that restore a little oxidation from the sun, but not if its damaged to the extent of it being "stripped" by chemical agents right? does that mean a new paint job, or a clear coat/lacquer job is in order? any idea where and how much to get it done?

any tips (if there are any) would be seriously appreciated!

Hi guys, I'm new here and stuff about bike as well. Slight intro. I'm keen and soon will debuting on learning bike. I planned to get a bike after getting my licence and found CBR150 best looking haha. I think it's time for me to know bike stuff. What do i need to know as a new rider and can intro me about CBR150? Or any other 2B bike that are recommended? I'm open to all precious information given. thanks

harlo...need some advice on this..yest i changed my EO and SP and heng motor(toh guan), theres no eo after the screw have been taken out!!!the mech also shock and asked me when i last top up i say 2 months ago...what would be the possible reason of this?and i top up fully synthetic eo 20w-50, roughly about how many miles need to change?

Oups... thats terrible.

fully syn should last you at least 5k km.

possibilities no 1, ur previous mech forgot to pour in the new EO, thats y its important to at least look around, or supervise the mech if he looked noob to u, during the servicing period instead of light up a stick or drinking coffee at the nearest KT.

possibilities no 2, some cheapo got no money buy EO, but got money to pay installment, stole ur EO at ur carpark.

possibilities no 3, ur engine is drinking EO.

3 is unlikely if ur bike still young and its only 2mths interval.

this case taught us that its damn important to check ur EO level regularly.

Anyway, CBR150 is very easy to maintain and to handle.. Strongly recommend this 2B bike =)
