hey pple!

i've gotten my CBR150 finally

:cheer:

still in the process of fixing/replacing a few wear and tear parts

anyway would like to check with u guys w/ regard to 2 things:

1. how inaccurate are yr fuel gauges?? i pumped abt $10 worth of petrol (before discount) and the gauge merely showed half tank...i was stunned

2. besides mounting the IU unit on the handlebar switch screws, what other positions are good? the current positioning of the IU on my bike totally blocked out the fuel gauge... :giddy:

the fuel gauge is very accurate. full tank cost about $12 about 7.5 litres esso 98. hit redline left about 2.5 litres.

iu unit mounted on fuel tank perfect. just in front of the fuel tank cap. mine is done that way. actually most cbr 150 mounted there.

sorry to make things clearer. cbr 150 tank is 10 litres. i usually use till it hits the redline which leaves the tank with about 2.5 litres. i pump 7.5litres for about $12 using esso 98.

hmz..been there on my 2nd day of bike collection for repairs

spent $125 getting

- carburettor washed

- replaced this fuel valve thingy found below the fuel tank

- replaced front brake disc

the parts he also need to order from supplier

so i waited quite a long while in the shop for the parts to come

definitely, skillwise i have nothing to complain

however, its the time that i always need to spend waiting for the parts to be bought frm supplier to arrive

$85 with installation is it?

yup...

i brought my base plate along

so they fixed up the bracket/rack together with the baseplate for me

installation included in the $85 already

the shop which i bought the bike frm actually did a recommendation for me to that shop for the bracket purchase

so i'm not sure if $85 is a special price or what. :giddy:
