hi bros just wondering if you will be interested in going for rounding and exchanging knowledge on riding and sp, Im here to store information of pple hu r interested and so we can organise outing next time with more participants as you know sp population are dropping and so i wish to keep as much sp riders tgt as possible !

hmm. now difficult find alot SPs. im trying now getting all number thn when reach around certain number thn organise outing ! see can bring out the spirit in sp rider again like before anot !

Ya, the kawasakis were out in force last weekend. If got competing SP group, it would be epic :-)

 

If you need people to ride with can always join @adesmond2 and the KR group. After all sp and kr are both two strokes and you all can share tips with each other.

Kinda old SP rider here, had my SP back in 2008 when i was 18, sold it off and moved on to bigger bikes since then. BUT!

I went to australia to study, and i sold of my gsxr.

 

funny thing is.. i'll be back for my holidays in nov and i needed to get a bike while i'm back in sg..

somehow i got reconnected with my old SP! i'm going to rebuy it! LOL.

 

just wanted to share the joy of riding SP again with you guys.. count me in if you guys wanna go rounding! it'll be like old times.. the smelly 2t, the noisy revving.

er.. what i did was just go riding late at night or even in the day also can, just go really really fast over a long distance, or drag at lower gears, either gear 3 - 4 - 5 for a short distance.. both ways clear out the carbon, depending on what exactly you want.. stay away from traffic junctions though. i once got summoned by a junction camera. $70. my gauge is the amount of smoke coming out the exhaust.. once you see comparatively less smoke as compared to the initial 300 meters of your riding.. i consider it more or less cleared up. having said all that, just continuous riding itself should heat up the whole exhaust system, and that heat should expel the carbon buildup.

 

if what you want is the more HARDCORE carbon clearing.. then its a different story. that one must go somewhere deserted and just revvvvv until you shiok. but in my opinion.. thats only if you haven't touched your bike in years. LOL. if you have been frequently riding, the minor carbon buildup overnight is easily dealt with using the methods i mentioned earlier..
