I look at my frenz bike shop. They offering me a FV90** plate Y125Z. Go Go paint work. Selling for $2.2k. On the road $2.5K. They give IU, back new tyre (normal one, any tyres below tt900), box. It come with spokes rims. But my bro ask for sport rims coz he say spoke rim need to tight every now and then due to lossen spoke. But the shop say muz top up $100 for sport rims and 1 back TT900 tyres. Any any bro advices on the spokes problem and is it worth to buy at that price? Thanks alot.

hmmm...on the road 2.5k. quite cheap leh....advice for rims, its the best you get sport rims and ask for tubeless tires...for my own experience i've been using spoke rims for 1+ yrs and i already had 3 flats...kinda sux though. anyway for cornering sport rims will be better.

 

i'm changing to sport rims soon anyway.

kinda agree wif hotdog81. sport rims are advised 4 cornering due 2 its weight n durability. feeling of cornering wif sport rims is nice... 2.5k on the road price is quite cheap.:thumb:

yup.its a gd price for that bike wif FV plate.as for concerns over spoke/sport rims,sport rims wl be a much better choice cos of its durability.i got mine for RM150 along Ah Gua Lane in Hou Heng Motor Shop.u can try dere if u want..

as for tyres,its better to get in Sg though so if u wanna change ya sports rims in JB,u got to bring ya own tyres frm SG.i wl recommend u Battlax..all e best!

there are a few cheap 125z's going for under 2k on Yahoo or in the Classifieds section of SG bikes here. Should be about the same age as the one you've mentioned. Asking about 1.8k maybe can Neg down a bit if you can find cash. Sports rims are ok but if you get spoked rims you can get the aftermarket alloy rims (wider) and fit wider rubber.

i juz got my wave 110 from nan wah motor;

FT plate

$1.2k machine price.

$341 3rd party insurance for 20 yrs old

$33 tranfer fee

$15 labour and paperwork

 

Total= $1589 onli

 

quite a gd deal i think.. :smile:

thx man.. but im thinkin of respraying.. but the fairing got abit off chip off and heard tt there's no stock.. eh all wave brothers, wats the basic thing to change or mod when u all got the bike???

bro wad u're paying beri worth it ma..affordable & econo bike a Wave is..keke..

aniway if u're respraying u can alwayz ask the guys to touch up for u the fairings no nid buy brand new wan..or paste stickers will do the job ma..suspensions & horn muz change la..else abit dangerous sia.. :giddy:

100%new. 2nd hand muz get a newer one, like FS plate later.wave dont reali have

much problem.

 

2)How much a 1st hand or 2nd hand cost.

1st hand about $3.5k.. 2nd hand depends on the age of bike, i got mine FT plate

$1.2k machine price.

 

3)Insurance for a p plate 20 years old.(2nd or 3rd party better ar?)

2nd party better la, can claim for fire and theft loss.. 3rd party abt $341 for mitsui,

2nd party about $600+

 

4)Min. Downpayment ?

for shops, $800 to $1k

oh ya my budget.. around 2-3k ba but downpayment wish to get 500 any shop still accept so low?

 

btw which version of wave better?

i planning to get a 2nd hand 1

 

how to avoid problems like other ppl saying like engine lose power at certain speed like stunt at 100 cant go faster? or things like that when choosing the bike from shop?

 

which insurance company better ar as in cheap and reliable.

can i choose my insurance company if buying from shop?
