Hi to all x1 riders..i would like to ask some ques abt x1..would u recomend a rider to buy 1 new x1 or a 2nd hand x1?how much does a 2nd hand x1 cost..cos i been to quite a lot of bikeshop,not many of them hav 2nd hand x1,n there not much posting of ppl selling x1 in the forum,if got the price is abit steep..thks for viewing n ur answer to my ques will b a great help n is truly appreciated..

anyway nowadays pple going for spark 135 instead of x1 already..

 

but both models have got its own good and bad points lah

bro got 2nd hand FY X-1 u can get for 1.8-2.1k.(machine.) Mod around 500-700 is more den enuff...

 

there's afew people selling in the garage sales.. look hard..

suse the search button funtion n u will find one..

U can go to bike production at 610 serangoon road, or ban hong at amk industrail park 2..

OTR = On the Road price for wave new FBA plate and later around $3600---$3800

 

depend wat model and wat are the accessories included( IU lah, Bracket or box ect)

 

Consider options from various shops first then decide.....

 

second hand one maybe a gd choice..... maybe FY or FZ plate....

 

some of the forum riders are selling... maybe can check it ....

i bought my bike, similiar to your conditions.

 

i'm sure, like many others, i would recommend you to go down to the bike shops yourself and survey. find a place convenient for you. since you're going to take the installment scheme. no point in wasting time and petrol to go to a far place just to pay a month's installment.

 

the installment scheme & interest will be based on the cost of the bike, the number of years you intend to pay it within (for example, 2 or 3 years) and the amount you paid for the downpayment. The more you pay for the downpayment, the less you pay for the remaining --> which is common sense. hahaa! Minimum downpayment for some shops will be SGD500.

 

insurance for a just passed rider will be high, even for a 22 year old. try asking the dealer for the lowest possible insurance. and also for more details on the types of insurance. for example, first party/second party/third party-fire & theft. mine's under the third party, MITSUI. and it was $636.

 

 

when buying the bike.. do ask if the IU, road tax are included in the price. and if the bike comes with a free box/helmet/bike cover/sports rim/basket/etc.

For installment , you can bank transfer to them. Which means u dont need to go down all the way to pay.

ya lor.tat time i go bike production,the boss ask me to come back after 2 weeks after he know i payin full cash for the bike,then instalement bike just hav to wait for 1 week,where got such a thing..then alot of my fren say tat bp wun sell u bike if u r paying full cash,n i was quoted $3856 otr with IU..can any1 tell me more abt this 2 shop??

i buy from BP. price of bike is 3.6 or 3.7k i cannot remember. IU not given. my downpayment i pay $1000. installment almost $178 per mth for 2 years. u calculate everyting including downpayment i'm paying 5.2+k for the bike.

 

and i'm 20.. hiaz... no wonder my heart ache when the bike fell 2 weeks later.. 5.2k gone juz like that.. even thou minor scratches.

u sure or not? bought mine 2 weeks ago, total plus interest and the stupid hidden fee.. altogether 4.6k only..i down 1k also
