Topic : Getting 1st hand X1 or Wave 125

Description : Nil

********************************************************************

Hi All Bros,

I got my license a couple of years back and recently wants to get a bike for transport.

Called Looi's for a rough quotation for Wave and they say is ard 4k OTR.

Need some help over here:

1) is 4k OTR reasonable for 1st hand, 2nd party for my age

2) Are there any big difference between Wave and X1?

3) Is looi's a good store?

Thanks for any help rendered!

insurance for a just passed rider will be high, even for a 22 year old. try asking the dealer for the lowest possible insurance. and also for more details on the types of insurance. for example, first party/second party/third party-fire & theft. mine's under the third party, MITSUI. and it was $636. :faint:

Your insurance is $636 under Mitsui? Cos in another thread I someone mentioned that under 21 yrs, Mitsui 3rd party is $300+...

If $636 how to buy bike?

I also jus passed on 17 Jul and will be 21 soon. Insurance so ex, add to the machine price dunno how to afford..

Description : Does it fluctuate

As above, can any experienced wave riders say whether the price of 2nd hand wave will fluctuate at different tmes of the year? I have this query as 2nd hand cars tend to be cheaper around december.

Thanks..

again if im not wrong.. haha.. bike production sells a few cubs n cbrs.. cbr is a sportsbike but to me its jus like a cub only wit 6 gears n bigger cc n fuel capacity.. if ur 23 tis yr wit 3+ yrs experience.. maybe insurance would be cheaper say $200/+++

cant really confirm though..

i prefer malaysia spark135 d green color.. fall in luv wit in..

yup!!!

that time it was $636.. other shops quote me more. i dunno which companies. cause by then i was already

hahaa..

so, when i got what i wanted.. close one eye abt the price of the insurance.

:btw:

perhaps why it was --> under 21 yrs, Mitsui 3rd party is $300+...

might also be cause the rider has been riding for more than a year. during the time i bought my bike, i passed my 2B 4 months ago.

given a choice between x-1 & wave, i take wave. given a choice between wave & spark 135, i take spark 135(this is just my own personnal opinion jangan marah!)

well x1 insurance should be cheap than spark135 i think cause spark135 is bigger CC and newer biek compare to x1
